This place is the bomb! We had ribs, tacos, gumbo and boudin balls! Yes, yes and more yes! Not feeling the bad reviews and I was shocked to see them. Good food and especially made from scratch takes time!
We went to the new location on Cavalcade, Grand opening day it was nice, out door seating this was our 1st time we drove about 3hrs- We we’re the 1st ones to arrive- We shared a large seafood gumbo and had 2 orders of “dem tacos” me and my BF absolutely loved everything not salty at all it was just right. ?? ordered the starter kit (3 tacos and cup of gumbo). Should've ordered 3 more tacos because OH MY GOD! It's located inside a Valero gas station so no dine in. The only options left today was the gumbo and tacos (reason I went) but would like to try the other options next time like the 3rd ward cheesesteak
