I was a bit bummed out the first time I came here because the truck had electrical issues so was close for business but I think it made my want for a burrito stronger. I came the second time around a few weeks later and luckily they were open this time. The ladies working the truck are very nice and friendly. In terms of the food, the burrito is definitely a hefty one and can fill you up and then some. I thought the bistec was great. 4/5The salsa is what tipped me over into giving this place a 5 star review. It is so dang good. I'd also like to think this is a more reasonably priced burrito, my total came out to be around 12 bucks tip included. Next time I go I'll probably get the chicken and maybe dabble in the tacos.

I will admit that I went a little hard in the paint the night prior so I was looking for some sustenance in the morning the next day. We stopped by La Esquina for breakfast. La Esquina is a no-frills authentic Mexican restaurant and we were the only non-Hispanic people there. After sitting at the booth, I ordered an agua fresca and looked over the menu. I couldn't say no to the breakfast tacos so I went with three: one with chorizo, eggs, and cheese; one with ham, eggs, and cheese; and one with bacon, eggs, and cheese. There are few breakfast items I like more than breakfast tacos and La Esquina delivered. The scrambled eggs inside each taco were fluffy. The tacos were a good size and stuffed with all of the ingredients. No scrawny tacos here. They were large enough that I was only able to consume two and took the third to-go. Service was standard. Prices were reasonable.

Honestly, I should have trusted the recent reviews. After the recent closing of my favorite local taco truck (we miss you taqueria tropical!) we decided to give this one a try. We immediately regretted our decision as soon as we swiped our card for $20 for two tacos and a burrito, however it got worse from there. With each 10 minute increment that passed, we hoped this would be our new spot and it was just taking long because it was being made with love and care. Unfortunately after 45 minutes that was not the case. The tacos were incredibly dry, the burrito is mostly solid beans and maybe the worst offense of all was the lack of green salsa. I will probably never go back, even if I was drunk and starving this place wouldn't hit the spot.

This place is not even mediocre at best. I ordered the carnitas corn tacos with a chicken flauta and both meats were very dry and flavorless (and no, I don't have Covid). My husband got a pastor burrito and the thing was TINY, being that it was freakin $11!!

Oh my god!! This was a horrible experience today. So we drove from Cypress to Eado to finally try this taco truck. So we parked and saw no line which was great at first. We review the very minimalistic menu and decide on 3 chicken tacos with no onions and the second item we ordered was the 4 corn tortillas that comes with bistec, avocado cilantro salsa cilantro and again onions which I said none to them. I did however order cheese for each taco. Doesn't that sound so simple??? Well not to the guy taking orders. He kept saying 3 bistec 4 chicken and also couldn't even tell me the cost of each meal. He first told us 10 then he says 17.50 so I'm like which is the right price and give me specific $$ for each meal. He had to call someone for that info. At this point I'm frustrated and hungry AF so I'm like give me my card back and I don't want anything anymore. This was horrible to say the least. I reached out to owner on ig but no reply yet. Guess I won't be coming back to try it. No pics cause they couldn't get it together. So sad now gotta look for another spot for dinner.

Went on a Friday night and we ordered 3 orders of chicken quesadillas and two lemonades for $19.00 we believed it was a decent price. But after opening the container we only find 3 greasy normal sized quesadillas. They weren't especially good either. To say the least it was not worth it. But I do believe they can do better especially with something so simple and cheap.

Great neighborhood taco truck. We love to walk here almost every weekend to grab either their special or breakfast tacos

La Esquina where have you been in my life?! This food truck spot is a gem that provides a quality meal on a budget. My girl and I have been fans since the first time we chomped down on a Thursday Torta/quesadilla special. The young lady who took our order was friendly and did a great job of selling the special. If you are looking for a quality taco, torta, or quesadilla then you need to hit up La Esquina. PS they have an inside eating space which bumps great music as you chow down and has the A/C on full blast which is needed in the Houston Weather.

After seeing the great reviews, La Esquina has been on list of places to check out for a while! We finally made it in this morning for some breakfast tacos. The girl who took our order was so kind and friendly. They have a very cute Instagrammable waiting area with a beachcomber, city signs, and flowers along with a bench to wait at. There is an outdoor seating area with plenty of tables and a restroom too. It's a pretty decked out food truck in terms of amenities. We tried two of breakfast tacos - the chorizo and egg and the bacon and egg both on flour tortillas. They were unbelievably good! The tortillas are homemade and the green sauce was thicker than usual with great flavor and the perfect amount of heat. We can't wait to go back to try the Friday plate, and rumor has it there's free beer on Thursdays and Fridays! I can't believe it's taken us this long to check out L Esquina, but we now have a new favorite taco truck in Houston!

OK... I don't like to over hype places, but LAWD HAVE MERCY! First I just want to say the amount of positive energy the girl who took our order had (Andrea) is unmatched. She was funny, charismatic, and thoughtful! Next the food was absolutely phenomenal! On top of that the serving size is a steal for the amount you pay! I would pick eating here over a restaurant any day! Then to make this place better they had an outdoor seating area or indoor seating area with A/C. In conclusion, COME EAT HERE! You will not be disappointed and if you are... stop hating. Lol.

Ive been wanting to check out this place since i've been seeing it all over my instagram feed. Yesterday was finally the night! We went around 8 pm. there was no line or crowd. the lady taking our order was the sweetest ever! she complimented my nails and made menu recommendations. we ended up getting two campechanas, a torta special, and a primo taco since i had been dying to try it. If you don't know, their primo taco is a keto friendly taco made out of a cheese shell instead of a tortilla. I though i would miss the tortilla but I totally didn't, ir was the best thing I tried in my opinion. We also had an horchata, and it was one of the freshest tasting ones i've ever had! They also have a small patio with seating, and a cute little corner for photo ops.

I adore this place! The desebrada y chicharon are so bomb! Taste like what I get in Nuevo León. They discontinued the chicharrón but I have great vivid memories of it lol this is my favorite taco truck. I love their trompo too! I gotta say that the torta is so bomb here! They also have Keto tacos, they're good too! Everything here is bomb! I adore the staff! You will not meet a friendlier person than the person who will take your order. I love her , and everyone that we've taken there says the same. She's the best! Alongside that everyone of the employees are great and so friendly. Customer service is really important and they really take the cake for me in Houston. All around great place, great prices, great specials.... 10/10 come here if you haven't! And get their horchata ufff

Oh my this place is AMAAAAZZZINNG! The staff was super friendly and the food is so flavorful, fresh, and tasty!! I had one of each item (it seems) and I'm stuffed!! I had tacos, a small quesadilla, and a flauta. Everything was perfectly cooked and packed a punch of spice. Perfect Taco Tuesday stop on the way home.

I LOVE this place so much that I'm ashamed that I have not written a review sooner. It's one of Houston's best hidden gems - I suppose a piece of me wanted to keep it that way .. The service, quality, affordability, food, and the experience are like no other. My fiancé and I have been frequenting this spot every Friday for over a year now and every time we go my food is never on my plate long enough to post pictures. Everything is so fresh and good here! They have weekly meal specials, free beer Friday's and live music on the the weekend (Friday & Saturday). Everyone we've recommended to this spot has never just been one time. ~ You're welcome
