Tacos Mi Pueblito (Food Truck)

🚨🚨🚨SCAM SCAM SCAM!! I was there 5/29/2026 for 8 tacos and was charged $66 dollars. I asked the lady what the total was before I tapped my card on the machine and she said $33. I asked for a receipt and she couldn’t provide it, I looked at my bank statement and saw a total of $66. The food was not worth it and DO NOT recommend this place at all! I would rather go to Taco Bell than this place. Everyone, I am warning and advise you not to eat here unless you want to be scammed!

The only good thing about the torta was the bread, but it didn't even come with avocado and it didn't come with enough meat either, in which a good bit of it was fat.

The mini tacos come out to $4/taco, the birria eggroles are $15 and definitely not worth the the price. Generic and over priced. My own people betrayed me. Never going back.

The tacos are insanely small, placed hand there for reference. This was birria tacos, but were soo dry, looked and tasted like old dried meat. They basically did regular tacos and added the sauce on the side and called it “birria”. The birria sauce was okay. Will never go back. Husband chose this place so I didn’t see previous reviews.

Birria tacos gave us food poisoning. This was a couple years ago, December 2023, but it was the most severe food poisoning imaginable. Throwing up for days and took a week to feel normal again.

The one on westheimer by the food truck lot is HORRIBLE. $30 for straight trash.

We are very disappointed in this entire experience. We got one chicken quesadilla; there was barely any chicken. We also received three baby sized birria tacos and some fries. This cost us $41 before tip !! We were trying to get something quick and stood outside in the cold for 30 minutes. I could continue with our experience, but I will stop here for now. I definitely will not be back

The food is flavorless and the prices are outrageous. Go to the other trucks down the street. Don’t waste your time.

Meat has no seasoning. My elote was quite literally like soup. 12/10 go to the trucks across the street.

The nachos($20) were terrible. The cheese was very thick, meat not seasoned well, chips were stale. And extra toppings I didn’t even know that went on nachos. Never going here again. Trust me do not waste your money here.

I hate giving any food establishment a bad rating. However, I'm still appalled by this place. $24 down the drain, order shows 4 birria tacos. I only got tree flavorless ones. And the broth was so bad. Took one bite and spit it out. I also ordered an "elote." Just pass on it. As a matter of fact, just skip along to the other food trucks. The Jarrito was good, though. It's on me for not looking at the reviews first. Please, please, please do not waste your money.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. They steal and commit CREDIT CARD FRAUD and add extra charges to your credit card! I am reporting them for fraud and to the Better Business Beurue. They will charge you one amount and then add additional charges to your credit card. I called and spoke to someone she said she was the manager said her name was Silvia I told her about the fraudulent charges to my credit card and she tried to blame it on their credit card merchant saying the credit card company can add extra charges. It was so upsetting listening to her try to cover up the fraud that they are commiting. Go else where! its not worth the hassle or the stress.
