This is one of my favorite taqueria's in Houston. Been eating there for decades. I no longer live close, but I'll still drive across town to get some from time to time . The Beef Enchiladas rule!
Service was super quick, but food lacking, just like many Mexican Restaurants in the USA the food is lacking a bit of flavor. Tamarindo Agua fresca was super sweet and Shrimp cocktail although it was not bad, it was not good as well. Flan was ok but not good. Check on the expensive side , $30 usd for one lunch

Taqueria Cancun is good for a quick, affordable meal. They have a drive thru which is nice and a large menu. But I can’t say the food is so great we come back for it. We mainly return for convenience and affordability. The last time we went i ordered a Caldo de Res and the broth was very plain/clear. I like their menudo but they don’t offer hominy. I do like their chicken flautas and fajita enchiladas and my husband likes their carnitas so it could just be the soups that aren’t...
