Taqueria Mi Tierra Caliente

I recently visited Taqueria de Tierra caliente and it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. First off, the cleanliness was shocking; the tables were sticky, and I spotted a few questionable stains on the floor that made me question their overall hygiene practices.

When my food finally arrived, it was completely wrong. I ordered tacos and received a soggy burrito instead. I tried to get the server’s attention, but they were nowhere to be found, and when I finally did get someone, they were incredibly rude and dismissive.

The whole experience was frustrating and unsanitary. I will definitely not be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save your time and money!

Great cheap mexican place. Portions were huge and filling. Cheese Enchiladas are highly recommended. Service was on point very attentive. Also the Mexican Coca Cola tastes amazing. The Jamaica drink also was good. Overall it was really good.

The food is amazing ! I love her sason ! My husband went to eat there and told me he loved everything . The service was amazing as well ! The chiken soup , caldo de res , tacos , and everything we have order is delicious ! One of my favorite place so far!

I drive about 9 miles away to check them out and the place is closed. Not sure why but I hope all is well

They don’t speak English at all but who cares. The food is very good and the people are really nice. I would recommend to a friend or family member. Restaurant is always very clean as well as the restrooms Thank you

I Didn't Like the Food I Ordered a Torta al Bolillo They Don't Remove the Crumb and They Don't Brown the Halves of the Bolillo A Little And They Put Very Little Meat in It and the Price is a Little Expensive I'm Very Sorry But That's My Opinion.

Very expensive !! I ordered a gordita and it was a stuffed tortilla. Please people, you are from Tierra Caliente and you don't know how to make a gordita??? Appalling!!!

We like trying new places. The service was very good. The menu was a big help, we pointed and got what we asked for. My wife enjoyed the enchiladas rojas suizas, they came with refried beans, avocado and salad and Mexican rice. I enjoyed the carne guisada plate, hunks of beef stew with grilled onions and bell peppers, the sides were refried beans, salad, sliced avocado and Mexican rice, I asked for the flour tortillas....couldn't finish all of it.....tasty but a tad too salty. The young lady that waited on us asked if we wanted chips and salsa...yes please. we enjoyed a red sauce with a little bite and a green sauce. They're a little pricy, thus 4 stars.

Great customer service and food is delicious. Well worth to try it again. The menudo is so so delicious, can't find this quality anywhere else.
