Awesome salad bar. Lots of great toppings choices to build your salad and even some premade cold salads available. 3 types of warm bread/ rolls available with regular or cinnamon butter. You can build a monster salad and take most of your main course home. Had a ribeye, cook on it was perfect. Mashed potatoes and mack and cheese both above par. Went to celebrate some birthdays and received complementary deserts. Very nice staff. 20% gratuity included on check, take that how you will. Paid a little over $200 for 3 people. Worth it in my opinion. Can be a little crowded. Parking lot was full, took a while to find a spot.

Went on a Wednesday night for a birthday and had an amazing experience. Cathy was our server and she was amazing. We also met Nancy who was also a delight. Very sweet ladies, great food and service.
Dinner My wife and I and our two grandkids had an amazing experience at Taste Of Texas in Houston, TX for our 39 anniversary (I found this restaurant on YouTube) and we visited all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina. This was our first time visiting and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent, our server was top notch and helped us with the many questions we had about the menu. As far as the food, once again top notch! We ordered the Tomahawk Ribeye, Steamed Lobster, Crab Meat and 6 ounce Center Cut Filet (Include Salad Bar & Homemade Breads) our server took us to the butcher shop to pick our steaks, tour of the salad bar. Everything tasted great (my grandkids were very picky but he finished his meal and said delicious food)! From start to finish, Taste of Texas made our 39 years anniversary memorable with free Dessert & Card. For an added touch of service, everyone who greeted us: the hostess, our waiter, the manager who stopped and checked on us and the gentleman who brought our entrees out: all wished us a happy anniversary and helped us take good looking pictures (see pictures). We had Omar as our server and he was outstanding. Any need we could have was tended before we even realized. He visited the table frequently to check in and was extremely polite and fast. Food was amazing and came out quickly, and more staff also checked in. Salad bar was great with tons of options! Pictured below is the grilled chicken, which was outstanding. The only negative we had was after when we were leaving a male employee on a golf cart was on his phone and not paying attention and almost drove into us. I would remove a star for that, but honestly Omar makes up six stars and so we stay firmly at 5 stars. Would absolutely come back and make the out of state journey for the lovely food and service. Prices are very reasonable for the portions and quality, and we loved Omar.
