I have nothing but praise for the restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is amazing. I couldn't celebrate such a special day anywhere else. I truly loved the experience. The manager was attentive and gave us a delicious complimentary dessert.

I wish I could give more stars. The salad bar alone is worth the trip here. It will fill you up. And the prime rib was so flavorful and tender and cooked perfectly. The meal is pricey if you get a steak, but the salad bar is included with the steak. The wait staff is terrific too. And the atmosphere is something to behold. You have to be there to feel it. This is a special place. For special occasions and to treat yourself, this place is top notch.

The salad bar was great. It was fresh, well-stocked, and had a lot of variety. The atmosphere was welcoming and the service was solid. That said, the steak was not the best. It could be more flavorful and tender. The side selection was basic and not very impressive. The soda choices were also limited. Overall, it is a decent spot but there is definitely room to improve on the steak and sides.

Salad bar here is top tier. I absolutely love it. I got the prime rib here, and although it was good, I definitely prefer the bacon wrapped filet here. (& I usually don’t like filet cut) as for sides, Mac n cheese and Brussel sprouts were my favorite. My husband loved the bacon cheddar soup too! Carson & Tom were phenomenal servers and made our guest from Germany feel very welcomed and got the Texas experience which they loved!

I have been eating at the Taste of Texas for over 30 years and tonight my daughter's 18th birthday was wrecked by a racist bigot of manager. The apparently the owner of the Taste of Texas has decided to remove the pepper grinders from the tables and we enjoy fresh ground pepper in our steaks. We mentioned this to the manager and he indicated that this was a decision made by the owner. His demeanor was unpleasant and made it quite clear he didn't care if we enjoyed our dining experience. My wife then complained in a mildly raised voice and was asked to leave. The manager, Donnell?, then asked my wife to leave. She responded that she'd be quiet and asked to stay as it was my daughter's 18th birthday. She was told that she would be arrested if she didn't leave. We will never be back.
