Loved the food, and the owner was so sweet and attentive. I loved the rice , beans and fried pork chop. Everything was so fresh, he cooked everything right there in front of us. I felt like I was at a restaurant in Puerto Rico! I will be back!

The food here was delicious. I had the fried pork and rice as well as an alcapurria with crabmeat. It reminded me of meals at my grandma's house, and that is a high compliment! The parking situation is tough, but it's a simple restaurant with a friendly and humble atmosphere. The menu has all the staples of Puerto Rican cuisine.I'm glad I found this place as Puerto Rican food isn't very common in Houston!

Owner was very friendly and the food was delicious and fresh. The inside of resturant is very small and prices are a bit high ($42 w/tip for 2 for dinner) but we would come back.

The Resturant was modest, sort of like your poor Auntie's place, but weve experienced those small mom and pop hidden gems before that totally surprised us, but this place was not like that. There's no prices on the menu, small portions that tasted okay. There were no printed breakdown of the prices. The staffer calculated the bill on his cell phone and verbally told us how much we owed, Which was a lot higher than expected. I definitely would not recommend this place.

If I could give this restaurant a zero star I would. Definitely the worst Puerto Rican food in Houston Texas. We order alcapuria ? the crab was spoil it smell terrible/rotten. We also order white rice with lechón asado the rice was old and had hard gains. Order breaded chicken breast ? it tasted like fish or fried in old oil. The green salad even worst they give me the top of the tomato like they did not even wash the salad ??. When we walk in the restaurant it smell funny, the place small & hot AC not properly working. The parking worst you must park on the side of the road risking your life & vehicle. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NASTY STINKING PUERTO RICAN RESTAURANT TO ANYONE ??. DONT waste your money and time eating here. Terrible customer service to add to this nasty place. Never again my family and I eating here. Tex Chick ????Parking: This place does not have any parking spot you have to park on the side of the road risking your life and vehicle.
