I recently checked out Pause (the new identity of the former Buddy’s), and it is a much-improved experience. While the physical layout remains familiar, the change in ownership has clearly breathed new life into the space.

Great place to hear good music and a great show! They have Bingo and all types of events. I had a great time. My favorite drink is the frozen beverage.
Buddy's Houston offers a welcoming atmosphere for all, including the LGBTQ community. The staff is friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to meet customers' expectations. The restaurant serves good drinks and has great bartenders, often with fun performances and events. The vibe is always awesome, whether you're dining with friends or stopping by solo. Parking is available in a free lot and limited street parking, but be mindful of reserved spots for retail merchants. Overall, Buddy's is a great spot to enjoy a meal and good company.
