I come here every day. Downtown is very limited on good spots for food that is served hot and fresh, and not something mass produced like chipotle. The prices are very affordable. Tucked away on Franklin Street, Thai Cafe served up a meal that felt like a mini vacation. The yellow curry with chicken was comfort in a bowl creamy, fragrant, and full of warmth, like sunshine in sauce form. The soft shrimp rolls were like edible poetry: light, fresh, and dipped in the dreamiest peanut sauce I’ve ever tasted. You need to eat here. Jay made our day! He was so kind and welcoming as we came in, and made great suggestions since they have such a full menu. Outstanding service matched the outstanding food. Someone should kiss the cook! We came for dinner but there are great lunch options as well. Good vibes here!
