The Annex Crafthouse

First off let me say the stars are for the employees. Broc the waiter and Bella the cook really doing the best they can with no support.

We were there on Saturday Nov. 1 @2pm
This place had two employees working their butts off. No help, one cooking and one trying to wait on 50 or so customers. I felt sorry for the employees. No manager or owner in sight. The owners of this place need to be present or available. Also need to have a little more consideration for the employees. Employees, trying to make this place work, but no help from the ownership.

Tater tots were good, the rest was marginal. 2 orders came out reasonably on time, 3rd (an appetizer) came 20 mins after that. Bartender was running the entire restaurant Saturday afternoon with about 40 people: two 12-tops, 4 groups at the bar and one other table. 2 other groups bailed.

We used to love this place. It had great vegan options close to our house. Now, since they changed owners, many of the vegan options have disappeared. They also run out of many of their other items on a regular basis. The waitstaff has never been outstanding, but now…it’s really bad. Our waitress the other night asked if it was ok to replace the ginger beer in a ginger mule with ginger ale. It’s not remotely the same. I’m extremely disappointed the new owners have let it get this way.

Ok. We came back one more time because we just really wanted this place to get better, but we think we are finally done. I brought a party of eight in and it was so embarrassing. There was one server in the whole place. I think the last time there was at least two. Every time we ordered a drink, it took FOREVER!!!! Can’t get a buzz at this place. The alcohol has passed through your system before the next drink comes. When we ordered, AGAIN! They were out of things. No Mac and cheese and no Brussel sprouts. My daughter was sooo upset. There was not a manager in sight to help or talk to tables. The server had the consolidation skills of a knat. All over the place. When my husband and I got our food, both plates were over cooked. Got their food last, but it was a solid 10 mins after everyone else. Again, no manager came by. The sad part is we used to love this place. We brought all our family and friends here. No more. It’s the end of an era because this restaurant is on it way out.

Tried the vegan tacos & cauliflower burger. Food was great but upkeep of this place and service was lacking.

My family and I stopped by, and sadly none of us liked the food. I ordered the Texas half shells and honestly couldn’t even finish one they tasted horrible and looked even worse. (I’ve added a picture so maybe they’ll reconsider how they’re made.) My daughter said her burger tasted burnt, and my husband’s loaded fries were what he said meh. The food kinda looked thrown together with no real effort. Overall, disappointing experience.

Dev is the best!

Annex is one of my favorite places in the area! Devyn, Kelli and Reese are always put me in a good mood when I see there smiling faces! The food is always on par and the atmosphere is chill but also entertaining.

Terrible experience. I've been going to Annex for years, idk what changed. They took almost all the vegan options off the menu, first off. Secondy, Anna was our server and she seemed angry that we were even there. She walked by our table 3x before coming to us and her section only had one other table. We had to ask for menus. We had to ask her for water. Service was slow. I don't think I'm coming back here, which is unfortunate because I've been coming here since the annex opened. Go walk down to hopdoddy, they'll be happy to serve you.

My favorite go to place for food and beer and watch my sports. Every single employee I’ve met has been outstanding. So friendly and always made sure I had a good experience
