Delicious cookies!
The cookies were good, but the customer service left a lot to be desired. While I was in the middle of paying, the employee stepped away for a moment, and during that time, my baby accidentally touched the screen, which caused a pop-up saying “transaction cancelled.”
As I reached to take the cookies from her hand, she quickly pulled her hand back and said, “Transaction cancelled, try again,” in a rude and accusatory tone. It was an unnecessary reaction, especially given the situation — I was clearly trying to pay, with a baby in my arms.
The way she handled it made me feel disrespected and judged. I hope management addresses this, because customer service is just as important as the product itself.
The shop is clean and has a very nice aesthetic—visually appealing and well put together. However, my experience with their custom ordering process was disappointing. I initially called and spoke with someone who told me that they only needed about two weeks’ notice for custom cookie orders. Based on that, I submitted my request four weeks in advance of my event, thinking I was well ahead of the game.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. It took about a week just to get a response via email, and then I was told that even four weeks wasn’t enough time, which felt inconsistent and unprofessional. There doesn't seem to be a clear or reliable method for handling custom orders, which is frustrating when you're trying to plan for a special occasion.
In the end, I didn’t move forward with the custom order. I went into the shop and purchased one of their pre-designed cookies, but it melted in the car almost immediately, which raises concerns about the durability of their $90-per-dozen custom cookies, especially in Houston heat.
I also tried the macarons, which were unfortunately a miss. The filling tasted more like plain whipped cream than a flavored or textured center, which was underwhelming.
That said, the chocolate cake was excellent—moist, rich, and full of flavor. If I return, it will be for that cake alone.
It’s just ok.

Stopped by The Bearded Baker 🍪🧔♂️ and was charmed by the vibe! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting—perfect for a sweet treat stop. They offer a wide variety of unique flavors to choose from, which definitely piqued my curiosity 🌈🍫.
As for the cookies? Well, they were just…cookies 🤷♀️. Nothing about the flavor stood out to me, other than the novelty of the options themselves. It’s like they’re the “hipster” of cookies—looks great, but the substance is just okay 🤔🍪.

These cookies were the cherry on top for a baby shower I was hosting. Allan did a wonderful job and the details on each cookie were extraordinary and so skillful! Allan was so kind and professional and made the ordering process very easy. Not only were they beautiful but they were so delicious and decadent as well. Highly recommend for any event! Thank you so much for your hard work and talents!
The cookies ? were good. They aren't the best I ever had. Would buy again. They also had tiny cakes which I think would make a great gift. I took one star off because of the atmosphere. It was so quiet in there. I could hear the mosquito ? sweet talking another one across the room. Can we get some ambiance music going?

I ordered some cookies from The Bearded Baker for a bridal shower I was hosting and the cookies turned out fantastic!!! Allan was very communicative and was quick to respond. The cookies were beautiful AND they tasted amazing! All my guests were raving about how good they were and wanted to know where I ordered them from so of course I shared them The Bearded Bakers contact info. When my fiancé and pups picked up my order they also gave our dogs a some treats which was so sweet. Highly recommend The Bearded Baker and will definitely order from them again!

Cookies were pretty tasty. Our favorite was the red velvet macadamia. Soft inside, but still had some texture like a cookie should (not just glorified flat sugar and butter cakes like Crumbl's "cookies").
Overall, some good cookies. Have had somewhat better, have had farrrrrrrr worse.
Wish there was more of a variety available. Selection was pretty limited and somewhat standard in flavors. Was expecting more than a handful of basic cookie options and a couple packaged cakes, but that one is on us for not looking into it more.
Prices were a bit high for what it was, but hey, it's 2024 and everything is now just crazy expensive.

What I asked for vs what I got….. A+ for taste, C- for following directions. Everything should’ve been blue & white. I was so confused when i picked them up. Oh well. Now we know.

Happy to see a case full of cookies, and cookie sandwiches for walk in orders. The cookies were fresh, delicious, and just what I needed while traveling. My dog appreciated the dog cookies they have available too!
