I'm pretty sure they're permanently closed. I've been eating here for the past 12 years. It was an absolutely gem. I live across the street so I check once in a while to see if they've reopened but the space is empty and all the tables and chairs are gone. It's been a few weeks now without my favorite Chinese restaurant. Timmy chans just doesn't hit the same way. Plus it's twice as expensive 😞
Decent food for the price.. but don't expect anything more. The portions are good and the options are typical. I've been a few times and for under $10 it's a good choice when I don't bring my lunch from home.
The Human has been my go to since moving to Houston from the northeast. It is your standard fare of Chinese menu options. I normally switch things up between combo plates. The combo plates come with choice of rice, soup, and wings / spring roll. Surprisingly, my favorite menu item is their chicken wings. They are seasoned well and fried to perfection.
