The keema biryani was a total showstopper! Every grain of rice soaked in the juicy, spiced minced meat — bursting with flavor in every bite. The keema was perfectly cooked, tender, and blended beautifully with the aromatic masalas. Not too greasy, just the right heat, and incredibly satisfying. This is comfort food with a royal twist!

The veg spring rolls were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, with a flavorful and crunchy vegetable filling inside. Each bite had the right balance of spice and texture. Served hot with tangy dipping sauce, they made the perfect appetizer or snack. Light, tasty, and satisfying — a must-try for all snack lovers!

🌟 Best Biryani Ever! 🌟
The biryani was absolutely delicious — every bite was packed with rich, aromatic spices and perfectly cooked rice. The meat was tender and flavorful, blending beautifully with the masala. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water. Authentic, satisfying, and unforgettable — truly a biryani lover's dream. The manager was too polite. I highly recommend 👌

I always enjoy our food from The Monk’s.
The momos are a must. We get them EVERY time. Also really enjoy the biriyanis and currys.

It was raining last night and my mood was all over the place.
Felt like having something hot, so I ordered masala tea and drums of heaven from this place.

First sip of the tea and I was instantly relaxed
felt like having street chai back in Hyderabad.

The drums of heaven were just next-level
crispy, juicy, spicy – everything on point.

Honestly, food like this on a rainy day just hits different.
Definitely recommend trying the masala tea!

I walked into Monk Heights with a hungry stomach, and it turned out to be a great decision! I asked the manager for a biryani suggestion, and he recommended the Vijayawada Biryani and it was absolutely delicious. Perfectly spiced, flavorful, and filling.

The hospitality was top-notch. The manager greeted me with a warm smile and made the experience even better. The service was quick, and the staff were polite and welcoming.
If you’re looking for a place with great food and friendly service, Monk Heights is a must-visit!

Ordered from Monks Heights on Uber Eats recently and had a really smooth experience. The order was exactly as described on the app, and all items were packed neatly, with no mess or confusion.

What stood out to me was their quick response over phone — I had a small doubt about the spice level, and they clarified it immediately with a polite tone. It gave me confidence that they actually care about the food and the customer.

The biryani was flavorful, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and the complimentary gulab jamun for orders above $40 was a sweet bonus. Overall, super happy with both the food and the service!

Nabih Kanaan

Carryout place only. Buyer beware. Extremely expensive for very small portions!!

Ordered the ta doori chicken for $17.00 and I literally think they gave me a pigeon.

This is the smallest chicken legs and thighs I've seen in my life. Literally less than $1.50 worth of actual poultry.

Good Indian cuisine is hard to find and you will not find it here.

Definitely the last time I'm ordering from this place.

Very disappointed.

Ordered Chicken Biryani Family pack, the appetiser they gave looked and tastes like they mixed the leftover food and gave it. Biryani looks good but not cooked properly and NO flavour or taste

I just want to say I’ve been ordering for this place for about three years, they are a staple for me and my partner (who is Punjabi) the food is always flavorful, the portions are good, prices are reasonable, I’ve never had a problem with my order. I get the Green Chili Chicken - omg, so spicy, it lasts for days bc we can’t eat all of it in one go ! Great for leftovers and adding to lunches at home. I love that it’s just a lil hole in the wall literally in a gas station parking lot but don’t be fooled, those men are in there cooking up a storm like their mamas taught them!

I guess the farther you go north in Houston, the worse the Indian food gets. I used to find Monk's ok, but the last two orders have just been bad. The Naan is just way undercooked to the point of doughy and the Saag Paneer tastes almost only like spinach with no other discernable taste. Chicken Tikka Masala was still pretty decent. Someone please open up a half decent indian togo in the area.
