I had a very bad experience at the Tea House tapioca and tea I waited more than 30minutes for my order, while other customers who ordered after me got their drinks first. When I asked the staff about it, the employee responded in a very rude way and didn’t even apologize. Extremely unprofessional service. I will never come back again, and I will post about their rudeness and poor customer service on all platforms.
“The Vietnamese coffee tasted great, but the cup was packed with crushed ice and ended up being only a few sips for $5. When I asked about it, I was told this is the one drink they serve this way, almost like an espresso shot over ice. Since all their other drinks come in full portions, I feel this should have been mentioned up front. The flavor was really good, but the portion and lack of communication were disappointing.”
I go here a few times a week. The cream blends are really good and the spicy popcorn chicken and fries as well. Definitely recommend!
Destiny was so sweet and gave us a great customer service. Would definitely be coming back. It was so good!!
Great avocado cream blend
Great service
I am loving half price drinks on Wednesdays 😍
Only had the popcorn chicken at this location, this time, but it was wonderful! I’ve had it at other locations many many times. Overall solid 5/5 for the fried foods.
Honestly Taiwanese popcorn chicken has always been one of my all-time favorites, and there have only been a few places that have really really nailed it (the way I like at least!). Funny enough one of the places is Teahouse (but not all locations! I personally think this location and the one on Yale street in the Heights have the best seasoning, but others across Houston haven’t been the best at seasoning.)
I have additionally worked remotely from here, and the vibe is nice. It’s not too loud or busy, the decor is nice, and the bathrooms and tables are clean with no sticky residue that you often find at places with drinks like boba.
For boba, I am very particular. I used to work at a boba shop, and I’ve ordered it from many different places. All I can say is that Teahouse tapioca is not very nice. When they first open or when they put out a fresh batch, it’s nice. However, it doesn’t stay good very long and they clearly leave it out without a warmer, so it ends up getting kind of tough in the middle as boba tends to when it gets cold.
The tea itself swaps between being very nice and kind of being mid. You can easily tell when people aren’t actually following all the directions for prep and end up winging it. 3/5 for the tea & boba.
Great service
Always a pleasant experience at the Teahouse.

I love the attention and the drinks ???
Always a relaxed atmosphere on the Kirby location. Me and the kids make “tea house” trips often. Good finger foods, good wall decor good service and cool games to play while we wait..
