I have been going to three brothers since they were on W. Gray. I always go to this one since they moved from W. Gray. I was disappointed this morning when I went into the store and they had basically no cookies. I asked about the peanut butter cookies and they told me that they would not have any today at all since they did not have the dough for peanut butter, WHAT? They also discontinued the thumb print cookies, no longer have cinnamon rolls I was just so surprised. I don't think I will be going back.

The lady at the counter greeted us many times politely. It was very comfortable. She seen it was our first time and had some great recommendations. I love how many options they have. I got the iced brownie and lemon cheesecake and they both were amazing. I told my husband he good get my birthday cheesecake from here if he wanted because it was so good and fresh. They also let us taste the most popular item at the time. We are definitely returning. Prices are very reasonable compared to other bakeries and it’s worth every penny.

Born and raised in New Orleans — I called in to make sure they had king cakes in stock because I was craving one. The customer service is great and answered any questions or concerns I had before coming in and even held a king cake for me in the event that it gets sold out. I ended up getting a cinnamon kingcake because I don’t really like heavily filled ones and the icing was great! But the cake itself seemed a bit dry, but I’m not sure if it’s because it isn’t fresh or if it’s just because there’s no filling, but I am glad that it wasn’t all too bad. They also had a whole bunch of treats and other pastries that looked appetizing as well. Would definitely come back.

Huge shoutout to the amazing staff! 🌟 They turned our simple mistake into a fantastic experience by treating us to coffee and even calling ahead to another location to make sure we got our bagels. Every single person we met was so friendly and customer-oriented. Plus, the pastries and bagels were 10/10! Thank you for the incredible service!!

The Google reviews didn’t lie—but the employees’ suggestions might be even better. I asked what to get and now all that’s left is a tiny crumb on my lap (see photo). Whatever they tell you to try, just say yes. This place is dangerously good in the best way.

The Manager, Emily, of the Washington location was so incredibly helpful and fantastic with my custom cake order for the one-year anniversary of my Cozy Cinema movie series at the River Oaks Theatre. She was an expert guide in terms of cake options, sizing and design. The cake was not only delicious, but extra gorgeous, made on-time and totally reasonably priced. Such a fantastic Houston institution that lives up to it's reputation!
