Came on a Sunday. We were the only customers the whole hour we were there for lunch. My friend & I were happy to have the place to ourselves but gotta say if this is the normal atmosphere then I fear for this restaurants' future.First I'll add that the table we chose was not properly cleaned. I guess we could've moved since we had choice of any table in the place but we were already settled in. I just wiped down my side & used my sanitizer for maximum effort. The salsa & chips were ok.. like I love warmed salsa but didnt eat much of it since i was still put off by the dirty table & my cup of water which had a piece of lemon stuck to the side.It just felt dirty to me, in a time when I feel everything should be as clean as possible. The food, which I managed to eat despite my put off-ness of the other things was actually pretty good. The street tacos were really enjoyable by both me & my table companions. So it's a decent place but definitely needs some improvement here & there. The only person working I saw had a mask on but who knows , probably not the kitchen staff if I had to guess..

Horrible service and worse food. Server broke two cokes on the table. Glass and coke everywhere , all over the purse. No apology, no discount, no offer to clean the purse. Food was worse. So salty we could not even eat the dishes. Don't waste your money.

The staff was great and very friendly I loved the spooky decor was very impressed with the food! 10 out of a 10 on presentation, and a solid 13 out of a 10 in taste!

Okay I wanted to like this place so much, since they're new abs I want them to be successful but the beef enchiladas I had were a no. They did not taste very good at all. The chips and salsa were fantastic. They serve those very thin light tasting chips. The margaritas were also fantastic. But the main food item. No.

Bring back El Paraíso. Don't waste your money here. Definitely better places than this.

Where do I begin... I guess first I’ll say I feel sorry for the waitstaff here as there are obvious mgmt. problems. We sat down at 7:30 and finally got to leave right at 10pm.... to say the service is slow would be giving it too much credit. The waiter was the same person that was making the margaritas, plan to wait 10-20 minutes for a drink, I suggest ordering two at a time. I had to ask to have my water refilled as well, which happened once in the 2.5 hours we were there. Some at our table liked their food. I will say the edible parts of my beef fajitas did have good flavor, however the majority of it was charred beyond what is considered edible. I’m still shaking my head trying to determine how they are still in business. Hopefully it was just a rough night.

Tortilla Joe's is a great restaurant! Food is always good. Service is always good. They are following all CDC guidelines. Dave says check 'em out!

The food is delicious. The change in ownership brought in a new chef and the quality has improved dramatically.

I don't write reviews often... but I would never advise anybody eating here. Service is beyond horrible, food was meh at best. Our experience was 2.5 hours from the time we sat down to the point we had to ask for our checks. Our waiter was also the person who made the drinks as I'm assuming no bartender was on staff. Plan to wait 20 minutes at minimum for a margarita, and that's if your lucky enough to be asked if If you'd like another. I feel sorry for the waitstaff working under such bad management.

Just like other reviewers, my boyfriend and I dropped in this past weekend to dine at El Paraiso. Upon learning that the establishment was a completely new restaurant, we decided to try out the food and see if things were just as great at Paraiso's. Well, unfortunately it was not. We were both hoping to enjoy some enchiladas with the brown, gravy sauce and our favorite thick tortilla chips. The tortilla chips we received were slightly stale, but redeemed by the great tasting black bean dip. When our enchilada plate was brought out to our table, we both noticed how small the plates (and portions) were. Still, we wanted to give our food a fair chance. Upon my first bite, I was overwhelmed with the taste of chili powder and salt--and not in a good way. It completely overpowered the flavor of the food, resulting in my need for 4 refills of water. The rice was okay and the beans were not fully cooked and slightly crunchy. My boyfriend was not impressed either. Oh, and the price of the plates were definitely not worth it. I would rather have just eaten at Chuy's. The only positive is that the server was nice, but we won't be back. Goodbye, El Paraiso. It was fun while it lasted.

Worst good ever eaten. Chicken was spoiled, tea was water. Waiter tried hard but even with few customers the kitchen was too slow.
