I had lunch at Toyori and ordered the Unagi Steak Donburi, Garlic Pork Steak with Spaghetti & Black Pepper Sauce, and Gyu Donburi.
First of all, the service staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food arrived quickly, was beautifully plated, and full of flavor.
My favorite was the Gyu Donburi – tender beef with a rich, savory sauce. The Unagi Steak Donburi was just okay for me, as the fried egg in it tasted a bit bland when mixed with the dish. I really...

I came at the suggestion of an article that listed Houston's top 10 spots for ramen. It was fortuitous as the ramen was exquisite. I ordered the spicy beef ribs ramen. The food came out relatively quickly, hot and absolutely delicious.

I would love to explore their menu further. The meat was falling off the bone in my bowl. It's an absolutely perfect Texas fusion dish. I mean it in the best possible way. Really cannot recommend this spot enough. Who...

Omg!! Food was so yum!! The tonkatsu was perfection, the chicken teriyaki was to die for, and the beef bowl was so buttery and smooth. The service was amazing!! I felt like I was right at home.
