The servers were personable and well-informed. Every course was served promptly. The food was interesting and prepared well. It's a pretty and comfortable place. We had a lovely time. The staff - bartenders and parking valets - made us feel welcome.
The food here is truly outstanding. IMO, some of the best Italian food in the city. The homemade pastas are amazing. Highly recommend the cacio e pepe, the burrata and prosciutto, and the risotto croquettes to name a few.
This place is Amazing! 5 Stars! We ordered the amber jack crudo, beet salad with Shrimp, and branzino. Best branzino we've ever had!
Gorgeous restaurant with beautiful ambiance. Servers were attentive and knowledgeable. Always a consistent product. Drinks were in point and valet was prompt and easy.
We love dining at Trattoria Sofia because it's hard to find authentic Italian restaurants in Houston. Food was excellent.
Disappointing meal. Service was okay - though waiters should tell you when a pasta special costs $30 more than every other pasta on the menu.
Very nice place. It was Easter and unlike other places on holidays they seemed organized, ready and friendly! Food was also good, which during a holiday can be so-so. My whole family liked the brunch and we will come again!
Great spot with a nice ambience and phenomenal service, but sitting out in the terrace area is extremely loud. I'm fairly young, and it was difficult to hear across the table chatting with my parents.
Had an early reservation. Noise level was good conducive to conversation. Service was great Joel and trainee Ellie did a great job and were very attentive. Food was very good and very consistent from appetizers and salads to entrees. We lingered over our meal and were never rushed.
Great food. Hostess could be friendlier, in my opinion. Great place for a date night.

Great Italian food, nice vibes!
Food: Good sized menu (not too small, not too large). Ordered octopus, and grilled veggies to start. Mains: had fungi pizza and bucatini w/ pesto. Pasta portions were relatively large so only ordered one pasta dish to share between the two of us. Both dishes amazing, wiped up remaining pesto with a slice of pizza 😅. Pizza crust was thin with right amount of chew. Had the Panna cotta for dessert, very tasty.
Drinks: Great selection of cocktails (classic and house). Also good selection of whiskies. Espresso martini and Paper Plane were both very good.
Service/vibe: Our server Ray was very attentive, as well as other staff members that quickly cleared empty plates. Restaurant as a while slightly dark, but each table had appropriate amount of lighting.
Parking: we drove in so we're stuck with $6 valet.
Overall a great dinner!
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, but we didn't notice many kids on that particular evening.

The menu is delicious and not overpriced. Wine list is healthy and the service is excellent. Last couple of times I’ve been I’ve gotten my order shockingly fast! I’ve been three times over the past couple of years. Honestly shocked by the average 4 star rating but her everyone has a different experience. I can say mine has been delightful every time. Great for family dinner or date night.

We have been here twice a few years ago and had a wonderful experience. Amazing service, food, and vibes.
However, recently we made an 8:15 reservation for a Friday (not under my name, under my fiancé’s name) arrived at 8, and did not get seated until 9:00. We were told which table we would be seated at because that group had paid and been boxed up. That group sat there for an hour with their to-go boxes and just chatted. We were told that basically they paid so they can stay. I think it would’ve been a reasonable request to ask them to move to the bar since other reservations were waiting.
Waiter was not very attentive. They did provide some apps immediately upon being seated, which I appreciate. However, we were not able to order wine for 20 minutes after being seated because the waiter did not return. Wine took a while to arrive then it was the wrong bottle. A cocktail was ordered, never arrived, so we cancelled it.
Unsure if I would ever return after that experience. Although the ambiance and food are great, that was an extreme mood killer.
