Our server was great, but the food was just so bland. The salad had next to nothing dressing and everything else had no real flavor. The pastas were cooked well; but they are scared of salt. Also why does a multi million dollar company and ultra rich owner need a restaurant charge. You actually have the money to pay the staff. You're not a mom and pop spot shame on you.

Delicious food at Trattoria Sofia but we were disappointed by slow service at the bar while we waited for our table, which continued while we sat down. It was a Saturday night and things were very busy and no doubt difficult to manage, but logistically the restaurant was sort of a mess. We were seated almost 15 minutes after our reservation time. Our server was very kind and knowledgeable, but we waited awhile for everything and it just seemed like the restaurant was understaffed & undermanaged. Our food was outstanding but we were expecting a better overall experience.

We spent over $400 for a mediocre at best experience for 5 people. We sat outside on the covered patio off to a back corner by a fountain, it was nice until the kitchen service door would open and the bussers would throw the silverware into the clean bins - this happened every 5 minutes! Our waiter was extremely overwhelmed, scatter brained, and would then rush over when he realized he had forgotten about our table. It seemed this was the case for all of his tables.... I've been here before multiple times and this was my worst experience by far.

The food was disappointing. Even the most basic thing, the bread basket, was stale and tasteless. I ordered the branzino and it was meh. Even the potatoes weren't seasonsed at all and potatoes are an easy thing to get right. The service was substandard. Our waiter, I'm refraining from sharing his name because I don't want to get anyone fired, brought my husband the wrong item. He brought him the short rib with risoto off the specials. Immediate my husband said, "that isnt what I ordered.' The waiter said he would bring the right order in 3 minutes. It took at least 20 minutes. Our waiter charged us for the item my husband didn't order, which was a $52 entre. That means we paid for 3 entrees, two of them were meh. I have never ordered two entrees and paid for three based on the waiter error. We wound up spending $100 per person before tip for the most marginal meal I have had in a very lomg time. The only positive thing I can say is we didn't have to drive very far. Do yourself a favor and drive to Montrose to Vinoteca Poscol. It is infinitely better.

Wonderful ambiance. Great food and service. Limited parking but they have $6 valet service.

Great food, great service but extremely hot at this time of the year if sitting in the enclosed patio.

Will definitely eat there again food/service/ambiance was great! The only thing that was VERY misleading, it advertised that the patio was climate controlled. Only suggestion is to eat indoors during very hot/humid season.

Hostess was rude. Flies everywhere. Waiter messed up our order and charged us anyways. Food was gross.

The ambience, service, and creativity of dishes were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the appetizers - octopus, burrata, and beets. The entrees were a little disappointing. We didn't think the branzino was worth the cost..we've eaten similarly good ones elsewhere for half the price, and while they were generous with the mussels, the squid ink pasta it came with wasn't memorable.

I was pretty disappointed in the food and where we were placed in the restaurant. The service was fine but honestly I can't imagine coming back. The food was not hot and simply not good. They has 4 of us crammed into a really small table that was extremely hot, in a very busy place for service. I would just expect more from this caliber of a restaurant.

Sofia Trattoria was fantastic. The food and cocktails were excellent. The staff went above and beyond. We celebrate our anniversary there every year and are made to feel very special.

A Magical Evening at Trattoria Sofia – 5 Stars From the moment we stepped into Trattoria Sofia, we were swept away by its warm charm and romantic ambiance. Tucked away like a secret gem, the space glowed with soft lighting, rustic elegance, and a whisper of Italy in every detail. The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive. Our server, Xavier, anticipated every need with a genuine smile, making us feel like honored guests at a family gathering. To start, we shared the Burrata con Prosciutto—a creamy dream paired with delicate slices of prosciutto and sweet fig jam. It set the tone for what would be a truly unforgettable meal. For entrées, the Pollo Alla Parmigiana was perfection: crispy, tender, and blanketed in a rich, flavorful sauce. The Tagliatelle al Tartufo was equally divine—earthy, luxurious, and melt-in-your-mouth indulgent. Every bite felt like a celebration. We couldn't resist dessert and were rewarded with the best Tiramisu we've ever tasted—light, decadent, and lovingly crafted. Dining at Trattoria Sofia was more than a meal—it was a moment. The kind you want to hold onto a little longer. Perfect for a date night or any evening you want to feel transported. We'll be back—and bringing everyone we love with us!

Great food and great service from Ulysses. The scarola arrosto (roasted escarole) and the picante sopressata pizza were our favorites of the evening.
