I literally just walked out of this fine establishment. When I tell you that I HAD to write a review before pulling off, it was a must. I got the rib plate with bake beans and potato salad. These are some of the best ribs I’ve ever had, taste like candy. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Definitely worth the drive. Price was worth it too. Hell I should’ve tipped more, my apologies.
Some of the best food in Houston period as far as sides and the peach cobbler. Sides and peach cobbler taste like the grandma is in the back. But the brisket need a bit more love with flavor.
Triple J’s delivers some of the best BBQ I’ve had in the area — the brisket and baked beans were absolutely spot-on. I really appreciated the unique, balanced flavor profile. So many places lean too sweet, but you’ve clearly taken the time to craft something memorable and true to Texas BBQ. That stood out to me in the best way.
You can tell this place is rooted in the community, and that kind of local authenticity is rare and worth celebrating.
