Valley Ranch Grill & Barbeque

We have been going to Valley Ranch for the last few months after taking a break for a few years. At first it seemed they have made adjustments for the better. We would average 2-3 a month for visits. Today’s meal was one of the worst we have ever had. It is obvious the brisket,sausage, and turkey have been switched out to a lower quality of meat. I hope they have saved the money they were looking for as we will not be returning again! The pickup window women was very nice as always.

I had a baked potato with turkey. It was okay, but the potato seemed old or it had been sitting for awhile. I won't try that again.

I’ve read some pretty good reviews about VR on here. I’ve eaten here before it it wasn’t bad. But today, it was terrible. I was given the end of the rib, it was all bone a ligament, and almost no meat. It was also dry. The chicken was colorless, and not very fresh. The mac and cheese was a glob of mush. There was nothing left of the macaroni. The is possible the worst plate of bbq I’ve ever had. Super disappointed. I’m not sure what made tonight different than my other visits. But it was really bad.

It's been 20 yers since I've eaten here. Still the same delicious BBQ, from the brisket, ribs and pulled pork and sides. The memories match the flavors I remembered. Very satisfying!!!

Four out of five in our party loved the food. Ribs, Chicken Sandwich, Brisket Sandwich and Chicken Fajitas were all good.
Fried Okra was perfect.
Pork Chops were dry.
Cherry Cobbler and Pecan Pie on point.
Service was friendly and efficient.

Come in, walk up to place your order and pick your own table/seating.
Great for families - children’s area.
Salad bar in the middle of the restaurant.
