This was my first and definitely last visit to Viet Alley in Houston. I came in when they opened at 8:00 AM and ordered a rice dish. The experience was absolutely terrible. As soon as I took one bite of the rice, I had to stop eating—it had a horrible, foul smell, like cockroaches. It was disgusting and completely inedible.
To make things worse, I went to check out the restroom, and it was filthy. The smell was awful, and the bathroom looked like a messy storage room. This place is not clean or sanitary at all. I’m shocked they operate under these conditions.
I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Very casual spot. Food is great though. I enjoy coming here for the food and egg coffee.

We came here for the garlic butter crawfish and it did not disappoint — super fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned with a rich, garlicky kick. The mango salad was also a standout — light, refreshing, and full of flavor with just the right balance of sweet and tangy. On top of the great food, the service was amazing! The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We'll definitely be back soon!

Best Vietnamese egg coffee in town, must try!!! I also like the “com ga xoi mo”, chicken is crunchy and the sauce is flavorful. Bò né and other dishes are good too. Highly recommend.
Great customer service as well.

Had lunch at Viet Alley and it hit the spot. The Viet-Cajun crawfish were a standout—great balance of sweet, savory, Cajun, and a tangy kick. Messy, flavorful, and really satisfying. The bò né was solid too—tender beef, nicely seasoned, served hot with the classic egg and pâté combo. No frills, just well-executed dishes. Would come back for sure.

Ordered My Quang Tom Thit and 6lbs of crawfish. I had to waited 45 mins for My Quang while crawfish already done in 20 mins. And restaurant was empty, no customer at all. So freaking hangry.

I ordered two party trays for my Christmas party. All was confirmed. Even the phone record shows my call. When I came to pick up at said time but my order was not on their record. I am so disappointed with their service. The thing is I have no food for my party. Worst service
