Ordered the rice plate with me chicken and the the fried.Egg rolls. The egg rolls were nasty. The outside part of the egg ro was so chewy. I couldn't eat it. There was a bug that was crawling under my rice. As soon as I found that I just couldn't keep eating.I had to leave the food there and leave. It's definitely not authentic vietnamese food like I was told. I was so disappointed. I will stick to Pho Ben even if I would have had to drive an additional ten minutes, but I know that the quality of the food would have been ten times better. The lady forgot my drink. Also I had to ask for it after I had already started eating. But it wasn't so much as for forgetting the drink. It was fun, she was not friendly at all. She seemed very miserable to be there. I guess i've noticed.Customer service has dropped in so many places. But it's funny how prices don't drop.

Pho is very plain. There is no favor at all. We went here because of 4.3 reviews.

Pork salad looks weird, tastes ok, won’t order again. Pork spring rolls with peanut sauce were good.

My husband really wanted to try this place so I agreed. Honestly, I wasn’t really impressed. I had the beef banh mi and it was just ok. The chicken fried rice was too… moist? Idk how to describe it but it wasn’t too good. I had only a few spoonfuls despite adding sriracha in an attempt to save it. The pho I did not personally taste but my husband said it was good.

The place was empty aside from us and it seems the same lady at the front is the one cooking and serving. I really don’t think I will be coming back here. I have better places for banh mi and pho that I go to.

Pay and tip before you sit to dine in. Self service for water and utensils. Large pho was very small and wasn’t hot. Broth was kinda oily. Something tasted spoiled. Definitely not coming back.

I stopped into Viet Express after a doctor’s appointment down the road, hoping for a quick and tasty banh mi based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed.
The chicken fried rice had too much grizzle, not refreshing or yummy at all. The Vietnamese coffee was way too strong seems like they didn’t make it right.

This place is a mess! They serve ice for your drinks out of a cooler sitting next to the checkout stand, which is really unhygienic. The drinks to the fridge are all scattered and stacked in there sams club boxes around when you walk in, and the walls next to the tables are covered in soy sauce stains. It’s pretty gross, and honestly, this place looks like a health inspector’s dream for shutting down. It clearly doesn’t meet basic cleanliness standards.

To make matters worse, I’m pretty sure the food made us sick because we didn’t feel great after eating here. I won’t be coming back. Go see how gross this place is inside for yourself, don’t be fooled!

I had Phở Nạm (Brisket Phở) here. The location is good for those who work in the Texas Medical Center especially the South Campus, OST and Main area. If I compared this Phở Nạm to my home cook or the Phở restaurants in the Viet Town (Bellaire area), then this place is not up to par. However, if I happen to be in this area and have a craving for Phở, then this restaurant is the closest in this area. The broth was not what I called a traditional Phở taste. I wondered if it was a true Phở broth or they just used one of those quick instant broth that were produced by the Kim Son restaurant corporation. The brisket was sliced very thin and a little bit more lean. The meat portion was just right, not too little, not too much. I would give them 2 stars on the Phở broth.

The service was ok, not too bad. You come in, order first at the counter, pay then the wait staff will bring the food out to your table.

The room was clean and so was the table and chair.

I just enjoyed the most delicious spring rolls here. The ingredients were fresh, the shrimp still warm and their peanut sauce is so flavorful. The cashier who took my order over the phone was very accommodating and informative when I asked to sweeten my iced coffee. Which was also strong and delicious! Definitely want to stop by again and try their other dishes.
