we got duck and roasted pork combo. had really high hopes but was extremely disappointed. food tasted like it was left on the counter for 3 hours prior to serving to us. it was like cold leftovers that never hit the microwave from the fridge. the staff was nice and polite but there was a big language barrier… they definitely charged us more for the combos than usual (probably because we are american.) portions were extremely small compared to other Chinese restaurants for the price!! will not be returning, you shouldn’t either save your money and go to sinh sinh and/or duck & bao for some FRESH and HOT duck. there is also 0 atmosphere and all the employees stare at you eating the entire time very uncomfortably. straight out of get out movie. do not come here.

Rude waitress! Rude lady at the counter! Overall service sucks! Will never come back!!
We will never go there again. My family of 4 had a dinner there. When paying the bill with tip, waitress told me my tip is not enough. She said I need to pay at least $xx.00 tip. I said everything is already expensive on their menu compared to same kind of restaurant. She continue talked back said I am dining out so I should expect to pay more. I never see such a rude waitress. We are also the only table there, the restaurant is empty. I in turn told her that your attitude just turn customer away and I will never come again. I felt being insulted. She even walked back to the counter and talk to other staff there!

This place has been more of a hit than a miss. If you want decent service, I recommend coming right when they open. Once the crowd starts coming in, the service attitude definitely matches what others have mentioned in past reviews. The food is consistently good, but don’t count on the service. In life, you give and take and here, you're mostly coming for the food.

To the business owner : your employee is complaining that she only gets a $2 hourly base pay, and she mentioned that the 15% minimum tip is mandatory. I strongly urge you to pay her more—it shouldn’t be up to the customers to make up for poor wages. With service this disappointing, it’s unacceptable to demand tips. I hope she can at least match the quality of service you’re expecting to charge for.

Ordered 4.5 pounds of crispy pork belly and they only gave me 1.5 pounds but charged for 4.5 pounds. They lied and said it was 4.5 pounds even after confronting them but I already paid. The cashier kept silence and didn’t do anything.

Strong hit or miss spot… the 3.7 average rating is accurate.
Their crispy pork belly is the best i tried in Houston. Also the duck is close to perfect - very juicy and tender. Would come back for those (only!)
The flat noodle beef was good - awesome wok hei.
However, their chicken was the driest I had in a while… Also the home made chili paste was not good at all. Strong unappetizing flavor. And the HK style coffee milk tea was just ok…watered down flavor.
The atmosphere is nothing special.
The service very friendly though!

Recommended dishes: roast pork 化皮烧肉, Roasted Duck
If you're ONLY coming to pickup duck or roast pork you're fine. That's the best and only thing good about them.
Mapo tofu. Don't bother. Veggies were good. Steamed ground pork with salty fish--waste of money.
Service sucks. Servers are decent enough. The absolute Worst part is the lady working the cash register with the short hair. Customer service or care skills are a zero or lower. I will assume she's the boss' wife bc she kept bossing everyone around rudely. Refer back to the first statement above.
