Wow, I wasn’t expecting this place to be so good! We loved everything we tried but the highlights were the big chicken dish with noodles, cabbage, fried pork, shredded vinegar potatoes, and skewered mushrooms. Such great explosive flavors!
They serve northeastern style Chinese charcoal grilled skewers. Very authentic flavors with very good service (something you don’t get from GAO’s BBQ). I recommend all of my friends this place over GAO’s BBQ.
In our search for a Skewer restaurant. Xin Jiang BBQ came up as one of the ONLY establishments open at the lunch hour.
The flavors here were excellent! If you're open to trying new things, there are several choices here that are worth a taste.
Highly suggest for new comers, start with the lamb selections (Lamb fat, lamb breast, marinated, etc), beef (sirloin, tendon, etc.) & pork (special on the wall side menu). Then work your way...
