I’m so confused about why this place does not have five stars!?!?!⭐️ Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted amazing. I accidentally found this place on my way home and could not turn in the parking lot fast enough. So glad I did. The sweetest couple who run the place were so kind. Like most people, I am very picky about where I order collard greens… These were almost perfect. The candy yams were perfectly sweet the meatloaf, OMG I should have gotten two pieces....
The food was very good. Nice casual place. And how can it not feel like home cooking when there's sweet elderly ladies dishing up your plates and a sweet elderly gentleman ringing up your total.
Customer service was exceptional the oxtails weren’t as tender, the greens were nasty had a awful taste, the macaroni was good, tea cakes weren’t so good too much lemon, pig feet had lot of flavor, kool aid was good , yams were a ten the rice was good, . Overall 3.5 I felt this could have been better.
