This place serves down home southern soul food. It is very good taste wise but the pricing is on the higher end. the atmosphere could use some renovation as well but if you need some good soul food stop here and give it a try
I came across Yo Mama's while in the neighborhood because of an accident. It was no accident that the food was so delicious. The service was excellent, and the food tasted like someone's mother toiled in the kitchen for Sunday dinner!
First time being here won’t be the last when i come here i get a homey time feeling when eating the food the elder couple who works here are very welcoming and fun to talk to the chicken i had was literally coming apart it was soft and seasoned yams soft and sweet but not to sweet just right not a fan of green beans but i left none when i was done eating i will be coming back after hearing they have turkey necks and legs until next time take care
