I recently visited a charming little Chinese spot, and it was a delightful experience! The staff was incredibly attentive, making us feel right at home.
I ordered the black mushroom chicken, and it was absolutely banging—packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. The cozy atmosphere paired with great service made it a memorable meal. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food in a small setting, this place is a must-try!

This is one of the oldest and most authentic Cantonese restaurants in Austin. They don’t have an Instagram or branding or anything like that but their food is outstanding and one of the last bastions of old Houston Chinatown cuisine. Recommend the crispy beef chow mein and salt and pepper squid.
