The taste is so good. I have been eating this soup for more than 10 years, but I’ve been a customer here for 2 years.

Sometimes when I order extra spicy online, I receive regular spicy. I always pay $1 extra for extra spicy because I really love spicy food.

One day when I ordered extra spicy at the restaurant, the waitress explained to me twice that it’s already spicy. I understand she was just worried about me 😊

But since there is an extra spicy option and customers choose extra spicy, please make it extra spicy. When I get the wrong spice level, I can’t enjoy the food because it doesn’t meet my taste level.

authentic, yet boldly unique. I’ve been here a few times already, and yes—this place was good from the beginning.
But after really paying attention to what they do well, I have to say… some of their dishes are seriously impressive for authentic Korean food.

My absolute must-order, number-one favorite is the
Braised spicy premium beef with flat glass noodles and Japanese pumpkin 🎃.

Oh. My. God.
This dish is out of this world.

It comes in a big pan—almost like a Korean-style beef hot pot, but without soup. Instead, there’s a rich, intensely flavored sauce sitting at the bottom because it’s braised, not boiled. The flavor is deep, bold, and concentrated.

The beef is tender and soaked in that spicy, savory sauce, and then the Japanese pumpkin adds a gentle, natural sweetness that balances everything perfectly. The combination is surprisingly elegant and incredibly addictive.
This is hands-down my top dish here.

The second must-have is their special bossam with house special sauce.

This is marinated pork belly served in wraps, and you build your own bite with lettuce, garlic, jalapeños (if you like heat), and their Korean house paste. The layers of flavor are intense, fresh, and perfectly balanced.

I’ve tried bossam at other Korean restaurants before, but the flavor here is completely different and very memorable.
Even when I was in Korea, I didn’t try this exact version—but honestly, in terms of deliciousness, this one is absolutely on the same level.

These two dishes are the ones I order every single time I come back.

I also tried their deep-fried pork chop—the portion is huge, and the pork is thick and juicy, exactly the way I like it. Super satisfying.

The kimchi appetizers (several varieties) are always fresh, well-seasoned, and a great way to start the meal.

Service is fast, friendly, and attentive, and the kitchen is very consistent.

If you love Korean food and you’re open to something that is authentic but not boring, this is definitely a spot worth exploring—especially if you enjoy bold flavors and well-executed signature dishes.

I wasn’t expecting much, but the food here was incredible. Everything was super tasty and bursting with flavor. I’ve traveled to Korea and still search for authentic tastes like this. This is a hidden gem; I’ll definitely be back to try more.

My boyfriend and I always stop here when we’re in the area — it’s our go-to spot for Korean food! Just a heads-up: the portions are huge and super filling.

Wish they would prepare the pork a bit better. The meat gets cold really fast of this dish. I know with large order. They do put a warmer to keep the temperature.

My first try with Korean food was lacking at another place where the food wasn't savory enough for me to enjoy, but my brother and I recently ate here. It's his first time and my second time trying Korean food. I'm glad I gave the cuisine another chance especially when I was craving any type of beef intestines anyway. The yukgaejang was literally the best soup I've ever had. My brother also enjoyed the bulgogi. Definitely coming here again, especially during cold days.

I really like the kimchi here — it’s very fresh and delicious. I’ve dined here before and had a great experience. In the past, the owner was usually here herself, and she was extremely friendly and attentive, which left me with a very good impression.

However, my experience today on New Year’s Day was very disappointing. The owner was not present, and the staff on duty provided very poor service. She often ignored us when we called for assistance, acted as if she couldn’t hear us, and never smiled. It honestly felt like I had done something wrong just by asking for service.

At the end of the meal, I asked for two takeout boxes and an extra dipping sauce to go. She only threw one takeout box on the table and then handed me an empty sauce container, expecting me to pour in sauce we had already used, instead of giving me a fresh one. That was really upsetting.

I truly hope management can improve staff training, because the food is good, but the service today seriously affected the overall experience.

The braised spicy beef ribs are incredible. Tender, full of flavor, and loved the squash that was served as part of the dish.

Staff was super attentive.

A great place to satisfy your Korean cravings. Reminded me of my days living in Korea. The namesake dish was great and just the perfect spicy.

It’s a good spot for late night cravings but the two items I ordered wasn’t up to par. Maybe I just have to try other items on the menu because the menu does look good. I also got tteokbokki to go but it was mediocre. Would come back to try a different item.

I came to YukDaeJang one evening near closing time. The employees didn't look like they want to serve me. There were a couple of tables of customers there. But they probably had a long day. I don't blame them. Food was ok. The waitstaff took wrong order. But it's ok.

My best friend and I visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was empty and we got a half booth half table. We were brought water right away. We had previewed the menu through yelp and came based on the pictures. Words cannot describe how incredible and fresh the food was! We had the smaller version of the pork belly platter which was served with one side of rice, fish cakes, fresh cabbage, marinated radish, and lots of other yummy sides. We also got an order of the rose tteokbokki and added cheese. To our surprise it came with glass noodles, egg, sausage, fried seaweed roll with glass noodles on the inside. Everything was phenomenal! So delicious. Service was amazing they were so polite and willing to answer any questions and were quick with re fills. Will definitely be going back. (Also it was relatively cheap for the amount of food we got!) we only spent $50 after tax for the both of us and honestly it was a lot of food!
