Bought a couple of rolls on a layover. Salmon was borderline rotten and tasted foul. I had to send it back and I was told that they don’t do refunds on the spot and you have to go online and request a refund. The Cali roll was only marginally better- sub gas station quality.

TBD if I get a refund or not since they gave no documentation that I asked for a refund. 50/50 it turns into a chargeback. The waitress was nice and as helpful as she could be but I’d give this place zero stars if that was an option.

I’d take dumpster diving behind a gas station for sushi before I ate there again.

Awful food, the ramen soup was cold and noodle was all over cooked and tangled when served !! it took more than 30mins for my fried rice and burger to make and they were all dry as cooked long ago…. definitely not a restauran, might be good for a drink if you would like to try.

It was a confusing and really bad experience. I sat at the bar. No staff member ever came to greet and said anything. So I thought it must be a self-service kind of place because there are QR codes on the bar table. So I ordered my food and sat there. No water was provided. Ah, fine.I guess I would need to pay for it like in Europe. So I sat there. I noticed the bowls, dishes, glasses two seats down were never taken away. Oh I thought maybe the bus boy was busy.

Then I waited and waited and I thought maybe the kitchen staffers were busy. Well, no. I caught them several times standing there talking to each other doing nothing. So I checked with one of the chefs. I was told to talk to a server. Surprise surprise there are actually servers. A server came over. He was actually chit-chatting with another chef before that.

At this point, the used dishes down the bar were still there, not colleceted.

The pork tonkatsu ramen finally came 20 minutes I ordered ut. The egg, bamboo shoot were freezer cold. Worse food ever I had at any eatery.

To I tipped when I ordered. How can I get my tip back?

I just read the owner's response posted two months ago and promised there would be improvement. Well, definitely nothing improved. Why should they care? It is an airport location and it is not like most customers would come back. I would definitely not go back to this airport any time soon.

Impressive the number of high employees in one place. It took 35 minutes for a fried rice bowl and bottle of water and the place was nearly empty. Don’t go there if you want to make your flight.

This is the worst ramen I’ve ever had. Even when I was extremely hungry, I still found it hard to eat. The noodles were overcooked and clumpy, the chashu was just a tiny piece, and the broth tasted like it came from an instant seasoning packet. There was only one server, so we had to wait 30 minutes just to get our food.

Some of the only worth-a-shit airport food I have ever had. Ordered the brisket fried rice. Joshua was great. Quick service, hot food. After so many horribly regrettable airport food experiences for a similar price, I am inspired enough to leave this review.

A Culinary Gem at Houston Airport – Chef Anthony Armour at Yume!

If you ever find yourself at Houston Airport’s Terminal E, do yourself a favor and stop by Yume—and more importantly, let Chef Anthony Armour take you on a flavor-packed journey.

I had the chicken stir-fry bowl, and while it may sound simple, it was anything but! The flavors were bold, fresh, and perfectly balanced—each bite had my taste buds exploding with joy. But what truly made this experience special was Chef Anthony himself. His energy, passion, and warm personality immediately drew me in. In an airport filled with dining options, he made Yume stand out—not just by his presence but by delivering on taste in a major way.

I had a four-hour layover and was feeling restless, but Chef Anthony turned my day around. It was amazing to see a Black chef from New Orleans absolutely mastering Asian cuisine—and doing it phenomenally.

So, if you ever find yourself at IAH with time to spare, head to Yume in Terminal E. Tell Chef Anthony I sent you! You won’t regret it.

An overprice place that come with food barely edible, the ramen I bought come with ingredients, portion and quality that would make any Japanese head hurt

Over priced, and the ramen was unpalatable without me adding some Sriracha.
Service was extremely poor as well, I had to ask three times to get some water.

Fake photos of the pork tonkatsu(not chasu pork and no egg) and the manager never showed up again after we ordered and ask for him, they take your money and leave you, don't come here for food, drinks only.

Good drinks and great service. Food is okay, not the best. You really are coming here to relax and wait for your flight, not to have a culinary dining experience. Airport pricing. But overall very nice people and I enjoyed the atmosphere.

The Thai vegan ramen is delicious with mushrooms, green onion, carrots, and sprouts. Doesn’t seem like there are many vegan options in the IAH airport, but this meal was great. #Veganuary
