Yummy Kitchen offers a mix of Chinese and seafood options, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
Let's start with the positives:
* Kung Pao Chicken: This dish was generally good, with a notable highlight being the use of fresh peanuts. I appreciate this detail, as many restaurants skip peanuts altogether or use inferior ones. The chicken itself was cooked well. And had a good mix of Veggies. My only disappointment was the lack of spice. The menu indicated it would be spicy, but it was quite mild. Had it delivered on the promised heat, it would have been a solid 10.
* Egg Rolls: These were a pleasant surprise! They were generously sized, fresh, and exceptionally tasty. You can't go wrong ordering these.
Now, for the areas that need improvement:
* General Tso's Chicken: Unfortunately, this dish was a significant letdown. The sauce had an off-putting flavor, described as an odd combination of sour and sweet, and it definitely didn't resemble a traditional General Tso's sauce. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the sauce was so unpalatable that I had to eat most of it without it. Additionally, this dish was also listed as spicy on the menu, but it was not spicy at all. I would not recommend this dish and will not order it again.
Overall:
Yummy Kitchen has some promising aspects, particularly the fresh ingredients in the Kung Pao Chicken and the excellent egg rolls. However, the General Tso's Chicken needs a complete overhaul. And the resturant needs to be accurate with its spice level description on the menu.

I went here about a year ago when I moved into the area and remember it was decent. I went back today and was very disappointed with the general tofu. It wasn’t cooked or fried at all. I didn’t try it-just threw it straight away. A complete waste of $19.

The shrimp fried rice is my go to!! So so good. Also tried the Pepper Steak and the Kung Pao Pork. The sauce/spice on the Kung Pao Pork was hot but so flavorful. Will buy again!

Great food, made to order. They did forget my cheese wontons, but that's ok. I will be coming back to try more of their food. Chicken lo mien was delicious!
Update: got my cheese wontons and they were amazing! Also the general tso was delicious.
Update: I would like a little more steak in my pepper steak. Don't get my wrong it was super tasty, but it had too many onions.

By far the BEST tea I’ve had. Thai tea with boba and pineapple tea with coconut jelly. The flavor is rich and the boba and jelly is amazing. The guy who took our order was so nice and explained the taste. We also got the general tso chicken plate with shrimp fried rice 10000/10. A must try!!

ABSOLUTELY, the WORST experience that I've ever had at this restaurant. My 1st time was okay, when I spent around $17 for lunch. However, this time, which is a NEW YEAR, 01/03/2025, I called in a very large order to try and support this business, and what I get, was THE WORST CHINESE FOOD, that I've ever tasted. And, my ENTIRE family agrees. I ordered shrimp fried rice, ONLY 3 SHRIMP inside the shrimp fried rice. I ordered 2 orders of 12 pc regular fried wings. The chicken WASN'T COMPLETELY COOKED! I ordered the biscuits, they were HORRIBLE, tasted like they were SOAKED IN GREASE. I ordered 6 egg rolls. My ENTIRE family also agrees that the egg rolls tasted STALE! The rib tibs that I ordered were TOUGH & TASTED like they were COOKED in SUGAR. I WILL NEVER go back here again. They ABSOLUTELY RIPPED ME OFF!!!!!

The owners from this place are so generous and so happy all the time the food is great didn’t say anything bad about that it’s family home so everything is cooked fresh when ordered
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, and they will accommodate the choice of food for your children, even if it’s not on the menu
