It was so much better than I thought. The way people talk about it, I was expecting it to be more of a bar scene, but I had a great family dinner here. The food tasted homemade. The boudin balls and voodoo sauce were beyond incredible

I ordered the plump stuffed shrimp for lunch. Food was tasty but shrimp was not plump, more small shrimp but great tasting. Ordered the oyster rockfellar and it came out floating in their special crawfish hollandaise sauce. I could not eat it. Oysters were large but the cheese sauce all over was unappealing.

I had the Stuffed Chicken Lunch Special.
It wasn't very special. The stuffed part was a lump of things that were all combined in a puree type of gob

First time here.. sad about the experience. We read the reviews and agree about the food. The food was mid for the price. We would like to say we appreciate the bartender. She worked her butt off. It was so busy and she was the only one there bartending AND table serving. It was slow but they did what they could for what they had.

Boo Ray's has already extremely raised their prices and now adding gratuity automatically to your ticket without telling you. Won't be going back. Pretty shady! People will tip, but sneaking in extra tips is wrong. Plus quality of food is going down. Bye boooooo rays...
And now they want to charge an extra 50cents for each tablespoon of tartar Sauce?
What seafood place says come eat seafood but you cant have sauces unless you pay extra extra! Even on $50.00 platters. Are you kidding?

The jalapeño catfish was fried well, but the batter lacked seasoning and the sauce didn't have any heat. The dirty rice was too wet, and needed more seasoning as well. The best thing was the green beans, they were in a delicious sauce, so not like typical green beans but really good.
