My husband and I really love this place! Such a beautiful and fun spot to hangout with just us, or with friends and family. And the food is always EXCELLENT! Great drinks and super reasonable prices on everything!!! Can't say enough good things! ?

Great place but they do have a tendency to over charge you if your not paying attention so check your account the next day to see if they double charged

Atmosphere here was good nice music and good band. Nice open seating outside. When it came to service it was terrible. Maybe if you're drunk and not paying attention you'll be fine . Ordered drinks and appetizer only to get drinks 15 mins later and appetizer 45 minutes later. Food took over an hour and didn't come out together second half came out 20 mins later drinks weren't refilled really terrible. Was wanting to enjoy it because it is decent. Maybe will just come for drinks next time if we come back.

The Mrs. & I were first-timers around noonish on St. Patrick's Day -- a Sunday this year. I found 1886 on Yelp, and being the restaurant/bar adventurer, decided to give it a try. While the cloudy, cool-ish weather played a part in making the outdoors very comfortable, we found the spot to be casual, relaxed, eclectic, and unpretentious -- all plusses in my book. It wasn't very crowded, but there was PLENTY of space for any time it might later be. There was no live entertainment at that time, but we did note a stage area for that. There was seating high & low for patrons of all heights, along with smaller and larger tables for groups few or many. Initial service was prompt, and we were pleasantly surprised to find drink & food specials on a weekend -- due to the holiday, of course, but still nice to experience. We got started with the "Irish Trash Can Punch" which was green, good tasting, and surprisingly strong. It was one of those drinks that felt week until you go to the bottom of the cup and stood up... lol. Not being very hungry, we decided to take advantage of a couple of the St. Patrick's Day food specials which, for their price, we thought would be small. WRONG. Both were tasty and almost more than we could eat -- not that we're complaining :) The music cranked up after awhile and really got a party atmosphere going. I explored and found the restrooms easily enough, along with some pool tables & dartboards -- even a cigarette vending machine. It was out of order, probably better that it was, but just it's presence added to the vibe of the place. All our servers were pleasant to deal with. The only complaints I can come up with are that it took awhile to get the food after it was ordered, though the drinks & atmosphere minimized that. We also waited a good 20 minutes after indicating to our server that we were done, anticipating a check -- but it never came, so we went to the bar to check out. It's possible that what we were supposed to do that and we just didn't know, but the actual checkout was pretty quick. The building doesn't look like much from the outside and is easy to drive past, thinking it's a broken down garage or something similar. Like a geode, the ambiance comes from the inside. To get in, you can either take Manor Way off Old Humble Road -- or if coming from the Beltway feeder road, turn into the Shipley's on the corner of Beltway 8 and Old Humble Road, then go counter-clockwise around the back, and left. We'll be back.

We got there and we stood around for 23 minutes before we got served because they were going through shift change. One of bartenders wasn't not friendly at all. And it took us quite a while anytime we wanted a drink. The food was pretty good. Just took a while to get.It was a chilly evening would have been nice to have like the portable heaters to make it a little more comfortable. The atmosphere was fabulous the people around were wonderful. The bathrooms could you use some cleaning up.

The atmosphere was great since they had a live DJ, and the mixed drinks were deliciously strong.

Reasonable prices with a huge alcohol selection. Can't complain ?Most of the seating is outdoor though. So only come if the weather is goodParking: You'll most likely be parking on gravel. The road is a little rough

Really nice outdoor spot but if you want flat draft or expired beer then this is the place to be! They wouldn’t even acknowledge it. Please do better.
