Great American Cookies

Visited the Deerbrook Mall location yesterday 3/20/25….super excited to get cookies just to not be acknowledged by employees. As I was standing there, I noticed ants crawling ALL OVER the cookies. 10/10 do not recommend. After making a comment, still not acknowledged.

HBD looks crazy and the boot is horrible! Also, the corner appears to be bit off?

I had no problem with customer service. They were nice and everything. I did my order online and selected the first picture below and in the notes i put i needed the ball to be yellow for softball and listed the names and border colors. Border colors are correct, names are spelt correct. My complaint is the BALL! Green??? DARK GREEN? No where near a softball. Not to mention the hand writing on this is HORRIBLE! Lucky for them i did not have time to deal with them remaking it or anything but this is very poor service and i am very disappointed. I have used GAC for YEARS. They have my favorite cookies and cakes. This cake is for my daughter’s first softball opening day and i am just disappointed.This is the one in Deerbrook Mall!

I needed a last minute birthday cake for my son and Great American Cookies had one personalized and ready for me in less than 10 minutes! It was delicious and a huge hit with the family. Will definitely be getting another one for the holidays.

There was an employee there from Footlocker on her lunch break I let her go first! THEN I said can I get a macadamia nut/white chocolate cookie. Two girls working waited on her first … no problem. They hesitated for a second and got the cookie , laid it on the counter. I didn’t think anything of it at first & laid $3 on the counter. One of them asked me to pick up the money ? and put it in her hand ?️. I did . She never said thank you or anything to me just to put the money in her hand! Sadly it was discriminatory towards me because she made it clear she expected me to be super nice to her yet she laid my food on the counter!I am white and the employees were African American. Bad job!DISCRIMINATION . Avoid this store . Rude.

Refused to put icing in cookies. So no double doozies. Poor attitude.

Placed an order for Thanksgiving, went through and my card was charged. Came to pick up and it's closed! I got an email confirmation for my order and everything. It could have said it was closed or whatnot instead of processing my order. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.

Staff arguing amongst themselves. I was late for my door dash order for just 4 slices of cookie cake. Taking forever too busy flirting and arguing with each other. Terrible service.

Bad experience here! First time ordering from here for my twin's bday today I went to pick up the order and it wasn't even made yet, even though I had already paid and ordered in Advance! Tried to give me a boy cookie cake when my twins are girls They made the cookie cake but it wasn't even the size I ordered didn't even try to give a discount or anything I will never order anything from here again I paid for something that wasn't what I wanted. I'm so disappointed with the service they had.
