“I love the poke bowls here! I usually come in for the 3 salmon protein, white rice, seaweed and crab salad bowl. They are fairly priced and the food is delicious. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming. It's always a pleasure stopping by.“

“I have been a long time customer of Sarku. I have read the bad reviews and I know every experience can be different but I have had only good experiences at this location. The service has always been friendly. This location is always busy and the line can get long. No matter how long the line I have never had to wait too long. The cooks have been the same ones for years now. They know how to cook the chicken just right. I have had teriyaki chicken at other places and the chicken is burnt. I have never had that issue here. I will say the prices have gone up but they have gone up everywhere so it's unfair for people to leave a bad review because they think the prices are too high. However, their portion sizes are plenty and I usually get double meat so I have enough for lunch the next day. Their drink cups are BIG so when you spend $2.50 you get alota soda vs other places with their small cups for the same price. Before covid they offered refills but that is gone. Smh. I recommend this place for some good teriyaki.“

“Overall I thought this place was pretty good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food portions for the price were decent. The food wasn't over salty which is a big plus. There wasn't any room at the table where the chef cooks the food, which is a highlight and why we go to these places. It was about a 20-30 minute wait, which was a bummer. We opted to just sit at a booth. The only thing was the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked but I would definitely visit again.“

“Had pretty good service with having such a large group to accommodate. Wait staff was prompt to take drink and food orders and were very accommodating for some picky kids in our group which was greatly appreciated. Overall the food was good and we all had a great time. The only downside I'd say was the lack of entertainment from the cook. Been to their previous location several times and other places similar and there was virtually no entertainment from the cook we had but I had witnessesd other cooks that entertained their tables and engaged with the customers a lot better. However this will notnorevent me or our family from going again.“

“First of most I want to say Asia is completely awesome. I arrived at 8:58PM and she informed me that they’ll be closing in 2 minutes. I apologized for coming in at that time and was about to leave and Asia replied “oh no, I’m taking your order I just was informing you, we still have 2 minutes.” She did not say it in a way to rush me at all, but to inform me of the hours.I then stated it was my first time there and I wouldn’t know what to get. She then explained the entire menu to me and explained how making a bowl goes and even offered her favorite bowl which I got (spicy chicken teriyaki) which was amazing. She was very kind, patient and very informative of the menu. A guy came from the kitchen area and saw my Baylor University cap complimented it and we chatted for a bit about Baylor. I thought I was going to get some old cold food and to my surprise EVERYTHING!!!! was cooked fresh. Even with it being well past closing time everyone was very kind, welcoming and thanked me for coming in. I’m truly impressed and have found my new favorite place to eat.“

The service is on point.
The food is delicious freshly made and never cold, the atmosphere is great me and my family had an amazing time there.
You are constantly being asking “if you need anything” or if “everything was alright”

“The food was pretty good. Everything came out fast and in an orderly fashion. We had an amazing server and he was on top of it. I was really impressed with him. He was working yesterday afternoon. My only critique is the shrimp fried rice was overcooked but everything else was really good. The Scallops were divine and I will be ordering more of them next time. I would eat here again and I likely see it happening again in the future. We only spent a little under $100 for three people with 3 entrees and 3 Appetizers. If was really reasonable.“

“never left a review for any restaurant before, this is the first restaurant that i absolutely wanted to leave a review for. as soon as i walked in, i was greeted by the staff. it was my first time there and one of the worker helped me throughout the selection process (and was super friendly btw). i’ve had poke in the past before but this poke was absolutely amazing, it was so good and the portions were huge i couldn’t even finish it all in one sitting. overall, this place is amazing if you’re craving for poke this is the place to go!!!“
