I dined in with my family of six. The food was good. The atmosphere was okay and the staff we interacted with was nice. Within 3 minutes after everybody got their order, I went back to the counter to place an order for fried shrimp; fried foods are cooked fresh and other items are already prepared. It took way too long for my shrimp order to be ready, over 30 minutes, and it doesn't take a long time to fry some shrimp especially after all of the other dine in and to-go orders...
Smothered pork chops were just falling off of the bone the Kool-Aid was mixed to Perfection. The service was outstanding. The green beans were seasoned to Perfection unlike some places that just open up the can warm them up and serve them. I also left with chocolate cake and smothered next to devour later. Of course the yams were on point.
The food was good and seasoned right. Food was so good we forgot to take a picture of it. Lol
Catfish, Ox tails, smothered chicken, Mac & cheese, yams, collards and etouffee over rice is a must try.
R & B is a hidden gem. Fish is made to order, so it comes out hot and fresh. The brand JOE TEA drinks is sold here... very good. I have to look for the different flavors in the store. We plan to come back.
