This is some of the best home style food you can find in the area. I highly recommend the hamburgers, chicken fried chicken and my wife loves their smothered chicken. After dinner, they have outstanding pies for dessert.

My brother and I stopped by for lunch today and it was great! I had the bourbon glazed pork chops and he got the chicken strips. The food came out in a timely manner and the staff was really nice. We will definitely be returning.

I ordered their breakfast burrito this morning as it appears on their menu. Eggs, cheese, potato, sausage, or bacon. The bacon was marked through. I order one with everything, and their waitress tells me she can't ring it up like that. I show her what it says, and she now glares at me, so I just never mind. She comes back out and again tries to tell me she can ring it up another way. She interrupted our conversation, and I finally told her, "just go away" So as I'm leaving, the owner decides to come outside and reprimand me. I smiled and told them they will never have to worry about me spending a nickle.

Been here many times for lunch and dinner and finally made it for breakfast and LOVED it. Everything was so good (bacon could've been cooked a little less) and there was plenty !! Service was great other than there only seemed to be one server working and she was running around doing her best but still very friendly. Huntsville doesn't seem to have many places to sit down and have breakfast so I am so glad this location opened back up recently. We will definitely be going again !!

Their menu has some great items to choose from. I had the patty melt on Texas toast with Okra. Both were perfectly prepared. The drinks come in huge quart Mason jars. Perfect little gem of a place for some good eats.

Before we drove all the way to the 1791 location, we checked both the website and Facebook page to confirm the closing time since it was 30 minutes away. Upon arrival at 2:50, we were told they were closing at 3. Really disappointing that an update was not given or posted.

The best part of our first time visit was Sidney, our waitress. Very friendly and great service!! Our bourbon glazed pork chops were dry and kinda tuff?. The fried mushrooms were delicious.

We stopped by, never knowing what to expect from an off the beaten path. We were happy with our visit. Our server, Carley D, did a wonderfully. She checked on us without the "hover / hurry up" vibe. She offered dessert choices (which don't happen everywhere). The decor is comfortable and causal. We enjoyed our meals and have already picked our next choices.

My husband and I just came in to try out this location. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! We were seated. Then, we waited for about 15 minutes, and were never acknowledged by our server. She was very prompt, friendly and kept attending to the table next to us. However, she did not have the courtesy to greet us or even speak to us. She simply acted like we did not exist. I am disgusted. I have never experienced such poor customer service before! Shame on them. We will not be returning!
