There wasn't any one thing that resulted in me giving a 2 star review it was several small or medium inconveniences that compounded to the decision. It started of when we walked in it was very warm borderline hot in the restaurant. We are seated and it takes a long time for our server to get to us. It wasn't that busy but maybe she had some things that took a while to take care of. When she is able to get over to us we place our drink order and they didn't have the beers we wanted ok that's fine it happens I get it. But that's three things before we get our drinks. We get our drinks and then the appetizer shows up and it is very good no complaints. We place our orders for food asked for onion rings and were told they don't have any, which ok I get it it happens sometimes. When the food arrives it is wrong some of the changes to the burgers were swapped so it had to go back. Service was slower than we would have liked but having read other reviews mentioning the service time we expected a slightly longer time but now we had to wait again for it the corrected order. Over all the food is really good it was just a lot of issues that added up. This was our first time dining here we will likely go back and I'll revise if it goes better.

Food took over an hour and my kids burger was raw. We had been here before and it was great, but not this time. Also, margaritas were $15.00 🫪

Very disappointed in the last two visits. The hamburger steak was burned the most recent time. For the prior visit never even recived one of the entrees. The service was very slow both visits. Had hopes for the salad bar, but when you choose to substitute it for both of your sides they only give you a saucer sized plate for the one trip. Does not seem equitable to the two sides.

Food and atmosphere is 10/10 service was slow and I almost had to ask for a refill. The server while attentive was not paying attention to our drinks.

Great place! Lots of atmosphere & good service by Patricia. We had chicken fried steak & it was great! They also carry the local brewery beer, BearKat Blonde Ale, my favorite! We will be back for sure! Thanks!

We used to have a totally different experience here. Food portions were decent and service was great. Ate there today and was so disappointed. Chicken fried steak and bourbon glazed pork chops were ridiculously small. Took forever to get salad plates to go to salad bar. Had to go look for our server to pay.

Prices are very reasonable. Service is good. Personally, I like my burger buns toasted or grilled to keep them from falling apart. Personal preference. I also like my burger meat well done. Not pink in the middle. Again, personal preference. So you might want to special request if that's what you like.
The Strawberry Cake was very Strawberry. My grandson loved it.
The buttermilk pie was alright. Not the best I've ever had but buttermilk pie isn't the easiest pie to make either.
All in all, it was an enjoyable meal.

The new salad bar is AWESOME! Everything you can imagine for a salad PLUS Candied Bacon!! Highly recommend!

Great food! Good people! AMAZING PIES! And really reasonable prices on everything! The new salad bar is nice with a variety of fruits, veggies, toppings, and an assortment of dressings. Try the greek feta dressing.

Went today ordered chicken tacos. It was absolutely horrible. Very little chicken pieces and alot of coleslaw in a tortilla, drowning in coleslaw dressing. Wanted salad bar for my 2 sides and was given a little plate that weighed very heavy. What a joke. Service was not very good besides me not being happy with the meal which made the whole experience today horrible. This is not our first time there, but it is the first time it sucked

We came for lunch and it was terrific. My husband and I both ordered the chicken fried chicken- his sides were potato salad and fried okra. Mine were pinto beans and french fries. Everything was hot and delicious. Service was good and the prices very reasonable. The only disappointment is that they were out of the strawberry cake dessert we wanted to order. If we lived here we would visit frequently.
