They take forever to help you the prices are expensively ridiculous. They are nice and very helpful but I pay $8 less to get my pepperoni sandwich meat at HEB. Kroger used to be cheaper than walmart.
The soup bar is great, excellent salad bar, sushi made in-store and a decent selection in hot deli foods. Has a small section nearby for eating inside the store so you don't have to shop while you're starving. Customer service though at the deli counter is almost always troubling. I can't remember a time that I haven't had some kind of complaint I could make. Usually it's the attitude from the cashiers like I am asking too much of them to ring up the order....
They have a deli, but it's hard to get someone to help you or they don't have the cut off meat or cheese your wanting. Early in the morning is best time to get what your looking for.
