On June 19th I went to McKenzie's for food. I ordered a baked potato with meat. I opened my bag to make sure everything was as I ordered and what I found was disgusting. The potato was so old and cold and so was the meat!!! Obviously this meat had been cooked and reheated and the potato probably had been done a week before. We ate here for lunch for the first time today. It was so delicious! The brisket was cooked to perfection and was not fatty like most restaurants. The sweet tea was sent down from Heaven and those beans!!! Needless to say we will be back! Their prices were unbeatable!! Thank you!!!
We visited mckenzies this evening, got sliced beef sandwich. The meat was very tough and the tea was so weak it didn’t even taste good. My hubby said the beans were not good either. Employees were very unfriendly also. I’ve always loved their food. I’m hoping this was an off night. I will go back, just not real soon.
