“Rio Grande Tex Mex is a great place to eat, they have delicious food and a nice patio for the cool evenings. My only complaint, and why we don’t go more, is because they won’t let us take our dog on the patio, even tho their google site says dog friendly. They used to, but the last time I went they refused and we had to go elsewhere. Not enough to take off a star, because this is about food, but I really wish they would go back to allowing dogs on their patio, I miss going here.“

“Ok... 4 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. The food almost 5 stars. But, the price! You would be hard pressed to find this quality food at these prices anywhere else in Taylor. I recommend the Al Pastor tacos. Make sure to try their habanero salsa if your stomach can handle it, very flavorful! The fajita tacos are tasty and inexpensive. “I tried this place on a whim due to the reviews. I got half a chicken with rice and plantains, and a chicken and a beef empanada. This place has delicious chicken- and great plantains. But everything else was ok. I didn’t care for the empanadas at all, and the cilantro rice was subpar. The sauces were delicious and the service was excellent. The staff got my order wrong but they quickly fixed it which I appreciated. Very very kind and friendly service. I would not return, but it was a nice experience, especially the service!“

“Delicious Tamales is sooooo tasty. I tried them for the first time and had the chicken tomatillo cheese variety. Each tamale was brimming with filling and it was just so savory and so good. I can't say enough about how tasty there were. And the service was super fast for takeout!“
