We were thrilled upon hearing that our favorite Idalou restaurant was reopening as Chilitos Pepper Cafe. This talented family also owns Mexican restaurants in Slaton and Wolfforth. The meals were even tastier than before and looked great on the plate.
Newly opened, this Mexican restaurant was a tasty find in a town that has very limited options for dining. Chips were crisp and fresh; salsa needed a little salt but had good flavor and just the right amount of heat. Our plates had generous portions and definitely had that home-cooked taste. Best homemade Mexican food! Very clean. Lots of seating. Atmosphere is inviting and servers are super nice and accomodating. I love the mom and pop restaurants. I highly recommend it.
