Typical bar food. But a bit more on the fancier side. The outside area looks amazing. But current weather (rain in the 40s) prevents me from hanging out there. Bartender was initially very attentive got me a drink right away. But got forgotten about and had to wave him over. It's easy and convenient if you are staying at the hotel. It's a pretty trendy place which matches the aesthetic of the main hotel. They have really good daily specials.The wings were cooked perfectly. Prob some of the best wings I have had in a long while.

Located inside the NYLO Las Colinas Hotel, Tapestry Collection, the LOFT Kitchen is an on-trend eatery (and drinkery!) on the first floor. The exposed concrete motif of the hotel extends into LOFT. Even the bar top is cast concrete. The bar is a good 40 feet long, offering many seats for close-up viewing of any of the three big screen TVs.I had the house-made black bean and quinoa veggie burger. I opted to cut a few calories and have it served as a lettuce wrap sans mayo. It did not disappoint. At a time when it is all too easy to simply pull a veggie burger out of a box, nuke it, and serve it, LOFT did a solid by making something original. Two thumbs up.A full bar with adequate wine and craft beer selections made this a great place to spend an evening typing up this review and some work-related items. I wish I were staying a few days here.Vegetarian options: Limited options, but sufficient! A veggie burger always gets the job done.

So I came down for dinner and a drink since I'm staying in the hotel. I ordered a pineapple margarita (wasn't on the menu) but she made it and it was tasty. I interacted with 3 different staff/ bar tenders and all were very nice. I ordered the Brussels sprouts and chips and queso. The queso was ok.I made it better by adding lime juice from my margarita lime. The chips were good though. Tasted homemade. The candied Brussels sprouts were SO good! The hot honey on them and the crunch! Definitely recommend. I had another pineapple margarita by a different bar tender. Didn't taste the same as the first one, but it was actually better. I felt prices were decent as well!

I'm staying in this hotel so it gets an extra star for convenience. The Southern Chicken Sandwich was nothing to write home about but wasn't bad either. At $14 with fries it was a good deal. Where it goes south is the drink prices. I ordered Bulleit Rye on the rocks. Holy cow when I got the bill. $18 PER POUR!! I get that there should be an up charge but seriously, $18 for a low to mid grade Rye?!? It's highway robbery. Needless to say this is the last time I will dine in or grab a drink there.

Before attending the Rockzilla Concert nearby, my friends and I went to the Nylo's restaurant to get a few drinks. The bartender, Ryan, was very quick and accommodating. Personally, I don't drink, so Ryan made sure I was hydrated. My other friends said their drinks were tasty and the perfect strength. Ryan was kind enough to top up my boyfriend's drink. He also gave us a side dish in the house which was incredibly kind! We greatly appreciate Ryan for taking care of us at the Loft Kitchen and Bar!!

Personally, I don't drink, so Ryan made sure I was hydrated. My other friends said their drinks were tasty and the perfect strength. Ryan was kind enough to top up my boyfriend's drink. Room was spotless. I cleaned before we brought the family in but honestly it wasn't needed. Jasmine at front desk was informative and a sweetheart.

Friendly service . Food was really good. Our table had the burger, steak, and shrimp &grits. The shrimp was cooked and seasoned well, grits were tasty. The burger looked really good and was a thick patty, none of us left much if anything on our plate. Also had adult drinks from beer to mixed drinks and were all good. Kudos to the bartender and chef.
The place was REALLY dark with very few patrons given it was the holiday season. The food was good but expensive and the adult beverages were delicious.

They told me to sit wherever. Most of the tables were for larger groups, I was alone so I sat at a smaller table. Sat there for 20 minutes before someone told me that there was no service in that area and to move to another table. Sat alone at a table for 8. The burger was undercooked. They ended up giving me the meal for free after I complained. My room in that hotel had cockroaches so they gave me the room for free too.

I saw the reviews on here but thought o would give it a try anyway. Boy was I disappointed. I think it was the manager who sat us at a table then took our orders. I think that must have made the other waitstaff angry, because from that point on we only saw the manager twice more. He brought my salad and my dates' meal at the same time, then half an hour later my steak had still not arrived. Mind you, there must have been five or six other servers scurrying back-and-forth who just ignored us as we sat there with empty plates, and empty glasses. I finally had to call one of them over to get the manager, who was quite surprised that I didn't want the steak anymore. This place needs a significant attitude overhaul.
They were not prepared to confirm my OT reservation since their iPad was stolen. The host didn't even know they were set up with OT. I was eventually served by the host because the server couldn't handle the load. No manager or server ever approached me.
