If you're looking for an authentic taste of African cuisine, Lola African Restaurant is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, each crafted with rich flavors and traditional ingredients that truly bring out the essence of African cooking.
I tried the okra soup assorted meat with fufu gari and it was simply amazing – the spices were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous, bursting with flavor and authenticity.
The staff at Lola are attentive and friendly, always ready to explain the menu or make recommendations for newcomers. Whether you're familiar with African cuisine or trying it for the first time, this is the place to experience it fully. Great food, welcoming service, and an experience that leaves you looking forward to your next visit – highly recommended!

The cold food was hard, little, we didn't order rice, we arrived at 9:30, the waiter practically threw the food at us without saying hello or anything.
Nice place!

As a non-West African, the picture menu was helpful characterized by vivid and colorful original photos of the dishes (picture clarity). I didn’t even know the names of the dishes, but the picture menu came in handy!
I guess the one running the restaurant is the elder lady, I have also met a gentleman with some kids and he was courteous to ask if I was ok and contented!
I have gone to this place multiple of times, and it is laid back and not crowded, very easy to pick a spot you’d sit in.
On the multiple times, I have ordered Egusi soup with pounded yam and goat meat (the white-ish one, not sure if it is amala), also okra with the same (goat meat). Of course, draining the spicy food with the palm drink!
However, the only problem I have encountered was recently! This time, it was an Uber Eats delivery. The goat meat was so hard, pointing to haste, that’s why I downgraded my ratings to 4 stars! Actually, I was lucky that I was idle at my condo and had a couple of hours to re-boil the goat meat.
Payment was easier by tap-to-pay ?.
Parking: The complex has a wider parking lot that can be used by patrons of businesses within.

Food is amazing! Seasoned to perfection. The Egusi soup is some of the best that we’ve had in the city of Dallas.

I ordered this food on Uber eats. I ordered the EFO w/ goat & yam! This food was so good I could barely breathe! The portion was adequate, there was not a lot of oil, and the stew tasted very fresh. I would definitely be ordering it again. Highly recommend.

Please this isn’t to bash the restaurant but I hope this feedback will help for future purposes.
This I ordered two plates of jollof rice, came out to be $49.8 personally I think that’s a lot. Each plate had goat meat and plantain. The meat was soft and so was the plantain so that’s good. But the rice lacked flavor and needed more seasoning honestly. Didn’t really have that smokey party taste, it honestly tasted like I could’ve made it at home. It tasted like concoction rice not authentic jollof rice. Maybe you can try other things on their menu. I hope to come back in the future and see changes. Overall, the service was nice.
