Should you eat there anyway? Absolutely.
I have never had Newari food before but I have had Nepalese plenty and this topped everything I have had in the past. Ordered a sadheko momo, sekuwa set, and sel roti. Everything was phenominal. The sekuwa set came with a spicy peanut salad dish that I will be raving about until I die.
On top of it being delicious, the people that work there are really sweet as well. My order wasn't...

I had a wonderful experience at Mono Spot! The food was absolutely delicious—authentic flavors that reminded me of home. What made the visit even more special was meeting the owners; a lovely husband-and-wife duo who were so warm and welcoming. Their hospitality made the whole dining experience feel personal and inviting. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for great Nepali food served with genuine kindness!

This is a hidden gem. Haven’t had such authentic taste in a while. Their MoMo was the best Ive ever had here, took me straight back to Nepal. The staff were also very kind to me and helped me with my order. The prices are also very affordable, not crazy expensive like some other places. You do not wanna miss out on a true gem like this right here!
