What happened??? Who is cooking the food these days? Disgusting!!! I’ve been ordering po Melvin’s for 25 years and all the sudden yesterday the food was absolutely terrible. The corn had zero peppers or spicy to it. The Cajun rice tasted flavorless and like knorr rice out of a box and they forgot to add the seasoning. When I order LOUISIANA CAJUN SPICY FOOD THAT IS WHAT I WANT. The mashed potatoes and chicken did still have about half the flavor it used to which is why I gave 2 stars. DoBetter it’s clear there has been a shift in owners or management and it is NOT FOR THE BETTER! Bring back real Cajun food!!!

Good service but horrible food.I ordered Gumbo, Okra with roll.Gumbo was normal with barely any shrimps ( I Guess Shrimps are on Vacation)Rolls taste like sitting in the kitchen for few days. My tooth really ache after trying one of the rolls.Okra taste and looks like few days oldOverall horrible food quality.I paid $20.00 including tips.Food worth is below $2.50Gordon Ramsey, Please come and assist this below standard joint in our neighborhood.

Catfish and shrimp platter is always amazing along with other food options on the menu but the only reason I give them 4 stars is because the gumbo is absolutely horrible! I hope they find another gumbo recipe and soon!! Service is always great.
