I had the shrimp and catfish and a side of chips and salsa. The seafood and fries were seasoned perfectly and delicious. The chips and salsa were bland and not very good. I will return for the seafood.

FINALLY tried Rico's this afternoon after wanting to visit since when it was Pappy's. Being from the deep south, I miss the fried catfish places and especially the all you can eat buffets featuring it. Although Rico's is not one of those places it does have hand breaded (with cornmeal) perfectly cooked catfish. I also got fried oysters and they were delicious (and hand breaded) also. It came with hush puppies (homemade) and one side which I gave to my husband...

This is mine and my husband’s 4th time ordering from here and every single time we have ordered something different and each dish is delicious but tonight i ordered the fried Calamari and Fried oysters, truth be told it’s so delicious, hot and fresh…it’s honestly hard to find fresh seafood around Irving but Rico’s sure won’t disappoint and the price is also great. So from now on every time I crave fresh, hot and delicious seafood, Rico’s will be our go to spot!
