Sadly this was their final NYE at this location. The service here has always been good. The restaurant is falling victim to the expiration of a lease. There is a lot of blame to share for the demise of the Keg. Advertising might have helped and an aggressive campaign to increase awareness. The location is discreetly sandwiched between several seemingly popular restaurants. Bringing lunch back after the pandemic might have helped to get over the hump.

Another awesome experience at The Keg! NYE was managed perfectly and seemed very smooth. The food was amazing and the wine selection was good. The service was great, as always. Already looking forward to our next visit

The Keg has always been my favourite place for a consistently good quality steak that doesn't break the bank. Unfortunately, they advised us they'll be closing the doors at that location on Jan 01, 2023. They will be sorely missed - they're the only restaurant in the DFW area that knows how to properly prepare lobster (I'm ex-pat Canadian Air Force who spent a good part of my career in the Maritimes where they know a thing or two about seafood). We decided to go all out and have two appetizers - the always reliable shrimp cocktail and the superb bacon wrapped scallops. My steak and lobster was perfect; my wife's baseball sirloin was excellent. We ended the evening with the incomparable Billy Miner Pie and a couple of Monte Cristo coffees. It's been a week and we're finally finishing the leftovers - by design...

Almost an hour to get bread and salads. Then our server says there is no more teriyaki steak. What do you want instead? We paid for the salads and left! And it was my birthday celebration. Not good at all

The food was good, service was OK-would have appreciated more time between appetizer and salad course. Would have ordered wine with dinner, had there been less of a rush with salads and entrees.

Another great meal at the Keg in Irving. We had drinks at the bar and they are always good, creative and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is warm and cozy and we prefer going to the bar first then on to dinner. The house bread and compound butter is the best bread of any steakhouse we've been to. We had the holiday appetizer, Gruyere Mushroom Dip, which was amazing. Would go again just for that and a glass of wine. I had the prime rib, perfectly medium, tender and so good with Cauliflower. Hubs got the filet, as always, and it was cooked perfectly. Highly recommend the Las Colinas location. When you see the same people every time you go, you know the management must treat everyone right. We will probably go back again before the New Year.

Sorry to say, dinner main course arrived 4minutes of being served my lobster bisque. I told server my filet would be cold before I finished my soup. He left it on side of table anyway... I had my waiter remove it as it was COLD. I ordered my filet rare, new plate came back very well done. Third try filet was rare, plate was missing keg fries. Enough said...

The food was delicious, but I wasn't impressed with the service. I had to ask for my soup and after-dinner drink (the drink ended up comped since the waiter forgot). I wanted to take my leftovers home. The waiter took away my plate and I thought he was boxing it up. Come to find out, he threw it out. I received another prime rib to go on the house. We were given the bill before the dessert and supposedly the after-dinner drink came out as if we were being rushed out. This was our first time cause we were celebrating my birthday, but for the same price, I'd go to another steakhouse.

Jacob, the manager always is the upmost professional manager. We dine at the Keg frequently and he always makes a point to welcome us and thank us for coming in. We also request Natalia and Austin who always provide great service. Don Williams

Disappointing meal, the restaurant was out of of several items which weren't known when ordering (prime rib, blue cheese, crème brûlée). Entrees took over an hour after ordering. Food came out cold and sloppy. Food was nowhere near the quality of prior visits. Also, there seemed to be several tables complaining at the restaurant. I will not be eating at this restaurant again. There are too many alternatives to deal with these issues.

Wished the music would have been quieter. Plus we were by kitchen entrance albeit across the room, but still in earshot of kitchen noises. Odd because I had requested a quiet table as we were four adults celebrating a birthday and engagement. I didn't realize all of this until we had sat and given our drink order and began talking together.

Absolutely fantastic, our server was JR and he made our visit to this restaurant so pleasant. It's not frequent that my partner and I are able to go out and enjoy a night, we're happy we chose this place.

Thanksgiving Dinner, one person in our group, asked to order from the menu instead of the prearranged Thanksgiving dinner, and they gladly complied. Two of us have a unique allergy that they carefully planned around. All of the meals were exceptional. We also enjoyed martinis and wine. Thanks again to the Keg. We are sorry to hear you will not be open in 2023.

Had to send the prime rib back - too rare. When taking our order the waiter did not ask how we wanted it cooked, nor did he ask whether we wanted the large or small size wine - just brought out the large, more expensive one. Also they knew we were celebrating a birthday because they asked at the time I made the reservation, but made no special acknowledgement of it at the table - so why even ask in the first place???

When have been to the Keg on multiple occasions and have LOVED it every time.. we are extremely saddened to hear the location in Irving/Las Colinas will be closing.. please let the community know if there is anything that we can do to prevent this.
