Very good meals. Excellent service!! I highly recommend it!!
Amazing steak and awesome friendly staff
The Ranch is at the top of my restaurant favorites list! The food, the atmosphere, the cocktails, the service, everything is always just right! I love that we can eat a farm to table, sophisticated meal in a comfortable dining spot. The venison chili is probably my favorite dish on the menu...but the elk tacos are amazing, the queso is delicious, the chipotle grilled meatloaf is incredible & the pork chop & the smoked fried chicken & the fried green tomatoes ...I could go on & on....The only problem is deciding what to order so I won't regret not having something else until the next visit! OH & if you have the opportunity to have Mother's Day Brunch or Easter Sunday brunch you will not be disappointed! STUFFED but not disappointed.
LOVE the ranch!! Seriously when I take people here that visit from out of town they are always so impressed and every time they come back they always want to go! The food is amazing, especially the prime rib. I didn't even know I liked prime rib until I tried it here. Simply incredible and I love that they only serve high quality/local cuts of meats. You really can tell the difference. Their margs are amazing and they have a great wine selection too. They also have an awesome patio and live music at times as well!!! It is truly the best, we are so lucky to have it so close by. Also, the meal kits they did during the shut down with the pandemic was so unique and creative and made me love this place even more. Just truly great all around
We ordered the filet dinner for 2 for curbside pick-up to celebrate our anniversary. The ordering process was very smooth and our food was hot and ready at the time we designated for pick-up. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the corn bread and chive whipped potatoes were so freaking good. We are local so we miss dining at The Ranch in person but look forward to supporting them again from afar!
This place has such a great atmosphere! We did the amazing quarantine packs and decided to do Mother's Day brunch there. The staff and management are so professional and on point. Their outdoor area is great and dog friendly! Definitely recommend this place!
Thus restaurant had plenty of options. The prices are fair and they have a great selection of drinks. I have eaten there two nights in a row and was not disappointed.
First time coming here. I'm guessing if COVID wasn't around, there would be 10x more people dining here because the food was dee-lish. We ordered appetizers and then the famous chicken fried steak with extra gravy. 10/10 recommend. High quality food, high quality service. Our servers were super friendly and constantly checked in on us. It seems as though they dedicated some staff to disinfecting tables after customers leave, so that's a plus.
We love the Ranch! We do not prefer live music so we try to go when that is not happening but the food is always perfect and the service is great.
I've been to the Ranch umpteen times over the years and I can't believe I never left a review. Well, this is our first time during Covid and they executed as well as the always have. Go online and check out their curbside menu, which changes each day. We got their Tuesday special, which is the Smoked Fried Chicken - one of our favorite fried chickens in DFW bar none. For $55 you get 3 each of legs, thighs and breasts, plus 2 sides (we got mashed potatoes and Mac & cheese) and 4 of their awesome cornbreads. The family pack also comes with a pack of Stella (or domestic beer), but we opted to pay a $15 up charge for a margarita kit. The kit came with a bottle of Dulce Vida, which is an organic tequila distilled in Austin - strong but really good. There was more than enough food for 4 people and considering their fried chicken used to be ~ $18 per plate, this is a Great deal! Pickup was really easy and we noticed a sign in front for "add-on" steaks with pricing that seemed too good to be true. We will ask about it next time - but if someone gets an extra steak on the side with their order, let me know!
I don't think this place needs another awesome review but I must, we picked up Easter dinner and it was great. My husband eats here all the time and has been telling me how good it is so I trusted him and it was a sweet surprise of flavor. The ham was perfect and I don't even like ham, all the sides were delicious. I will be visiting The Ranch as soon as the pandemic is over! Thank you so much
I had lunch with a coworker, to celebrate an achievement. We ordered the sampler of appetizers because we couldn't decide. The queso dip was my favorite, but all of it was good. My meal was the Garlic-stuffed filet. Literal whole garlic cloves could be found inside the steak. It was quite tasty. The sprouts were a little mushy for me. I also tasted my coworker's snapper which was lovely. We got a piece of pecan pie to split. The crust is a flattened giant cinnamon roll and was definitely our favorite part!
Awesome takeout. They are closed sundays and Monday's for now. Very organized. Daily special meals to go. Feeds 4. Today was meatloaf with chipotle sauce, mashed potatoes, grilled Brussels sprouts and cauliflower, a slice of pecan pie, dinner rolls and a 6 pack of Samuel Adams beer. $50. Oh and bye a $100 gift card only get $100. 1/2 off bottles of wine and there's vodkas too and bourbon.
I travel to Dallas every now and then, and recently tried this restaurant. The food was really good, with a great menu, and the atmosphere is very nice. Our server Ryan was awesome :)! The only disappointment was the hostesses (they didn’t acknowledge us at all while standing in from of them for over 5 minutes) - but will definitely add this restaurant to the list on my trips to Texas!
We have had lunch here many times and it is always a great place to eat. The portions are large and the menu has lots of selections. This place is not pricey either.
First Props to Our waitress, Jenn D. On a busy night she was attentive, gave appropriate recommendations, and all with personable humor. Beautiful patio with a great country swing band playing in the background.
The hubs, baby and I came into the ranch yesterday for lunch. Side note I used to come here when I was single for HH all the time. Great stop for singles at HH. Totally different review now with hubby and baby. We stop in for a quick lunch. I don't really ever remember eating here before. Dang I have been missing out. Our waitress Ashley was really attentive without being annoying. She recommended the 8oz garlic filet. I asked for it cooked medium rare.... and surprisingly it came out perfectly! Of course since grits were on the menu I had to order them. They were drool worthy. Even the baby loves them. Our waitress never let my Diet Coke get empty... and as an exhausted mom I really appreciated that. Hubby got the fajitas, and really seemed to enjoy them. I can definitely say we will be back soon. Maybe for HH without the baby. Ha!
Went here after our Senior Leadership kickoff meeting and the service and food was GREAT! Ya gotta try the Ribeye....
I had a business meeting here. We were given a large table so that we could review papers and go thru a power point on my laptop. I appreciate the "extra mile" they went to make my meeting great. Amazing food and service!! A+
One of my favorite go tos in Irving / Las Colinas. Whether it's lunch, HH, post event wind down, dinner or or otherwise this is the place to be!!! Also- not sure what's better, the service, management or food. They are all incredible. Also- big thanks to Christine the new GM for taking time out to make the impossible happen with no notice or appointment and Michelle the best bartender for getting Christine to make for me to accommodate 150 people for HH in 2 weeks and 2 days. Y'all are the best! So glad we can party with you all and I'm forever grateful for making time for me in your busy day!
Best service I've had, hands down. For as busy as they were we were told that it would be a 30 minute wait for a table, we had one in 10. Within 5 minutes of ordering we had our food and the place was packed. Food was awesome and our drinks never ran empty. Exceptional experience.
What a great place! We came for lunch on a Wednesday; their was super busy but since the place is huge, we only waited a few minutes for our table. Kinda loud but it's a fun place. But it's not where you want to go for a serious business lunch or for a date when you actually want to talk. My wife ordered a burger; it was great. The beef is Wagyu meat so it was a bit pricier but quite good. The fries were tasty but they came cold; we had to send them back for some hot ones. I ordered the venison chili. It was spicy, hot and tasty. But the cornbread was awesome! The best I have ever had; they will email you the recipe if you ask - and I did! We had a slice of pecan pie for dessert. Again, it was awesome - and enough for 10 people! So I exaggerate but you the point. The crust was a cinnamon roll recipe and there was a scoop of Henrys ice cream on top. What a sugar high. The only reason o dropped a star was due to the slow service and that we had to return the fries. But I can't wait to go back.
We enjoy going out. Yesterday we arrived in this fine place which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful experience there with superb food and a well-trained crew and a distinguished chef. We put this restaurant in our phone list and we shall certainly go again very soon. We warmly recommend.
I ordered dinner to go the other night and it was delicious! The time frame for pick up was accurate. My burger was cooked as ordered and the spicy chicken tortilla soup is hands down the best around!
Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Good steaks, good drinks, good service. Nice atmosphere. I highly recommend.
I've been plant-based for almost a year and was worried about coming to such a meat-focused restaurant. Now I can't wait to go back! The waiter recommended their veggie fajitas with corn tortillas; it is by far the best meal I've had in months. Kudos to the chef for actually giving us plant-based folks (vegetarian/vegan) something to crave. Delicious!!
I love the menu selections as well as the quality of their food. Generous portions, and high quality. I had the prime rib and it was second to none, but they also have unusual/unique offerings, like elk tacos.
Busy on a cold Wednesday night, took us over an hour to get seated. But after that, Jennifer did a fantastic job with our party of 9. The food was delicious, steaks were tender and cooked just right, love the "farm to fork" concept where most of their food is sourced locally. Ambience is warm and cozy.
One of my new favs. Grilled Meatloaf with Chipotle sauce. The hint of spice sets the grilled smoke flavors. Thier new Grits an Blue Cheese side is definitely of a different dish than the old school grits in your granny kitchen. The punch flavor of the Blue Cheese is delicious. An you cant complete a meal without the Smoked Mac n Cheese side a winner of comfort in itself. Also dont sleep on the Chicken Fried Steak with Jalapeno gravy an for appetizer the Elk Tacos LAWWWWDDD
Typical Texas fare. Well cooked steak, overpriced as usual for simple carbo-loaded foods. Yet, nice atmosphere! It hits all the high points of a Southern grandma's cooking. You'll find something for everyone. The salads are surprising refreshing and delicious. Worth a go.
Nice food, nice drinks and excellent service. I had a massively rib eye steak and a wonderful Californian wine! Excellent!
Great food and service. Also a great atmosphere.
Local Las Colinas area restaurant with great Texas flair! So I ate here on my very first trip to the area and finally got to come back! This place has a stellar happy hour and atmosphere! Be warned it gets very busy around traditional dinner time (6-8p). So coming early for happy hour is always a great move! The meat and cheese sampler is always a great option. Local game sausages, local cheeses, candies walnuts, fresh honeycomb, pickled fruit crackers. Makes a meal and take home snacks for one, perfect to share with a few friends. The service was great, very quick and friendly. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review was the flat bread oven was down! So I couldn't take advantage of $5 happy hour flat bread! Otherwise, if you're in the area and looking for an experience you can't get elsewhere... go to The Ranch!
My friend was having a going away Happy Hour Party here. I must say it was very nice. They have $5.00 happy hour drinks frozen and on the rocks. They are pretty strong too, I was able to sample some of there cornbread as well. Its absolute Marvelous!! Some of my co works ordered food as well and everyone was pleased with there selections as well. The staff was very friendly and accommodating during our visit. The place has a very nice atmosphere for fine a dinning experience.
service was excellent and so was the food..our server was Renee and she was so polite and very attentive to our needs..it was our first time there and we truly enjoyed it!!
Love this place for many years. Great staff, quality and service.
It was great! Loved the atmosphere and there is a section for everyone. The burger I had was one of the best burgers I've ever had! I didn't know they brewed their own beer and the beer was also exceptional! All around good place to hang out! Will definitely be back!
Came in on a team dinner event this week and the entire event in my eyes went wrong (not any fault of the restaurant) and they were overly accommodating, a seated our party of approx. 49 right away with no issue, service was stellar and they were able to tackle every request. Loved so much I'm going back alone this week as a regular meal and not part of the larger team meal, will update, quite possibly the best steak I've ever had!!! Ryan was the legit shit and dealt with my high maintenance, picky ass and never showed frustration and was all about great customer service!!
The Ranch deserves more than five stars. This is easily the best meal I have had in my life. Ordered elk tacos (appetizer), and a bone in pork-chop with grilled asparagus. The food came out so quick that i didn’t even have a chance to take a look around. 10/10 would recommend.
Whether having a business lunch or dining out on a date, The Ranch is a great choice. Competitive pricing matched with superior quality. The Texas meat and cheese board makes a great appetizer for a party of two or more. Bar, table, and patio seating options, with regular live music on the patio in evenings all contribute to the ambiance and allure of The Ranch.
