“I miss this place. The people and the food were always second to none. I'm very happy to see that it's still in business. I hauled barite to the Halliburton yard that was next door years ago. Me and another driver delivered there 2 or 3 times a week and ate here every time we delivered. We'd be starving by the time we got to Dallas but we would tough it out and wait until we got to Jacksboro so we could eat some good food. I know I'll pass through there again at some point and I will definitely be stopping by for some of that good country cooking.”

“I haven't been to Green frog in a bit due to working late hours at times but my husband and I were able to come last Saturday night to eat again. It was delicious! I ordered chicken fried steak and my husband the ribeye. Estella, ( the cook that night ) always knows what she is doing for sure. Our server was Miranda ♥️ I must say that girl runs circles and did an amazing job! She was super was polite and on top of things! We never had to ask for anything. DeeDee the owner makes great cabbage and pretty much everything there is great! If you haven't been there yet it's a must go to in Jacksboro!”

“Great tasting snow cones and great service! I asked for their snow cones to be put in the next size up cup so they wouldn’t spill them in the car but the sweet kid at the window said they have these awesome flower cup spill-protectors for kids. The kids loved them and it helped prevent a huge mess in my car while driving home (we live 20mins out of town). Also, being able to drive through the drive through is invaluable with 3 kids all under 6 years old. My 5 month old stayed asleep in his car seat while we pulled through, ordered, got our snow ones, and left. Friendly, convenient, great tasting, and fast service!”

“This Chicken Express in Jacksboro has become our regular stop when we visit Fort Richardson State Park! This was our second visit, and it was fantastic. The chicken is always delicious—perfectly cooked and flavorful. We were feeding the whole family (me, my wife, kids, and grandkids), so we ordered a family meal. The price was very reasonable for such a large group. While we got our food for takeout, I noticed the restaurant was very clean and well-maintained. Just as important, all the staff were very nice and friendly, providing excellent service. Everyone was satisfied with our meal. It's the perfect, easy dinner after a day at the park. We will definitely be back!”
