We had just got done walking in the extreme heat and humidity of the Tomatofest. I was suffering heat stroke. We had hoped that just sitting in the cool restaurant and eating something would help. (since I hadn't eaten anything that day and it was 3pm) We ordered but quickly realized that I needed to get home asap. Our server was great. She brought water and ice. She got out food switched over for to-go. I can only guess she asked them to hurry because it came out very quick....
Amazing food, drinks and service. We had the chicken rigatoni vodka and the lasagna and grilled chicken salad. The bartender Hendrix made us the best drinks. We tried the blueberry smash,, blackberry mule, strawberry watermelon marg, and the blueberry lemon drop. They were made to perfection . Highly recommend Romas in Jacksonville. We sat at the bar and enjoyed it so much.
I really want to like this place. The food is good and the prices are not bad. But both times we have been there the service is atrocious. From having to ask for a server, to servers just not being well trained, it’s just disappointing
