We are staying at Martin Dies Jr. State Park. Decided to come eat here as we have a dog we like taking with us places and could sit outside. Also, because of the five-star reviews. They didn't disappoint. We have hamburgers and fries. Delicious. Oh, we met Mr. Chuck Harvard, who's running for Jasper County sheriff. What a nice man he was to us. Thanks again.
Cold, wet Friday night, we arrived late at Martin Dies state park. We decided to try this place & we were glad we did! It was a little hard to find, but the food was so worth it! Our grilled shrimp & fries were served with grilled onions. Everything was fresh & well prepared!

Great little place for breakfast, although the food menu goes far beyond just breakfast. The pancakes are fluffy and delicious...best I've ever had!! The husband had the western omelet and loved it. The cook/proprietor is lovely...felt like stopping at a friend's house❤
